In a cold, eerie night, loud growls can be heard coming from the beasts. A woman with silky, long, straight raven hair and charcoal eyes is skillfully slaying a group of terrifying beasts that's ten times bigger than her.

She smoothly avoided the big palm of the bull-looking beast, jumped high and slash her blade across its body, cutting it in half.
Her cold and emotionless eyes then stared at the remaining beasts that were running toward her, ready to attack. As she positioned herself and was about to slay them all, she heard someone speak.
"Sis, Lucius said to hurry up, he wants to talk to you." A 14-year-old guy lazily informed her as his green eyes shifted at the hungry beasts that were already close to them that made his eyes widened.
The woman whom he called his sister nodded, put her sword down and took out her wand
"Lux et vis, ad me veni, Orbis magicus, resplende."
Black orbs appeared from above and blasted black light at the beasts. Agonizing groans were heard before she turned away and walked toward the portal with her brother.
A mad-looking man greeted them the moment they stepped out of the portal. His green eyes glared at the woman who had just stepped out of the portal and was currently sitting comfortably in the wooden chair.
"You hardheaded lady! Didn't I tell you to tell me whenever you went to the beasts' realm to train yourself?!" Lucius yelled in annoyance while glaring at Seraphine, who just sighed and closed her eyes.
It's been eleven years since the incident when Seraphine saw her mother being burned by their fellow wizards, especially by their aunt. She was seven back then and now she's currently eighteen.
Since then, Seraphine changed and turned into a coldhearted, merciless woman, training hard and pushing herself to the limit, which made her extremely strong. Lucius trained both of them and taught them everything he knew about spells, potion-making, and combat skills.
"Stop worrying Lucius, you know better what I'm capable off." Seraphine said coldly before opening her eyes.
Lucius scoffed and muttered 'cocky' before shaking his head once more. Even though she clearly heard him, she just remained silent and looked at her younger brother, who was sipping tea while playing with the raven crow on his shoulder.
"You both are at the right age now, it is time to enroll you in the Astral Wizard Academy." He stated, which took Seraphine's and Spade's attention.
Seraphine looked at him in confusion.
"Objectum Apparitionis." -Lucius
Two papers appeared and floated in the air.
"You already know that your mother and I were best friends." Lucius began, sighing as he remembered Amber, Seraphine's and Spade's mother. "Your mother wanted you both to go to this academy to study and enhance your abilities as wizards." He continued, looking at them seriously.
"Mother..." Spade muttered sadly, remembering her mother even though he only had a vivid memories of her.
Lucius suddenly became stern as all of his emotions vanished. "And to get revenge, Seraphine." He stated, clenching his fist.
Dark aura surrounded Seraphine upon hearing his last statement.
Lucius told them that their mother was captured before and was raped by a dark wizard, and the fruit was Seraphine. Three years later Amber married her fellow wizard friend, Gustavo, and that's when Spade was born. But sadly, Gustavo died from severe illne.
Flashbacks of their mother being burned by the people she thought were their family flashed in her mind.
'I still haven't found that old wizard who burned my mother' Seraphine said to herself as her eyes darkened.
Lucius felt a chill as he sensed the dark aura around Seraphine even though she's just calmly listening to him. Feeling worried, Spade went to his sister and held her hand.
"Sera..." He muttered softly.
She sighed and that's when the heavy atmosphere around her disappeared.
"My knowledge about dark wizards isn't enough, so going to that academy will be good for the two of you." Lucius added, facing Seraphine. "Vladimir... Remember that name who raped Amber. Avenge your mother." He continued and gave the form to them.
Saraphine read it and let out a dark grin.
'Astral Wizard Academy, a school for light wizards.'
She read it in her mind and continued to read the details before she took out her dagger, cut her palm, and let out a few drops of blood fall on it before it turned to ashes.
She turned to look at Spade and saw his form also turned to ashes.
"Now that the student application is done, you'll be arriving at Astral Wizard Academy next week." -Lucius
'I'll make sure to get my revenge on each and everyone of you '
Seraphine thought to herself and went up to her room.
