Seraphine stopped at the dorm door, where the angry dragon head doorknocker, Steve, glared at her and puffed out a small burst of fire.
"Where did you go, young lady?! Headmistress Emberheart ordered all students to stay in their dorms yet you're wondering around! Do you also want to be turned into stone?!" He roared in annoyance but Seraphine couldn't care less.
"Is Estrellia inside, Steve?" Seraphine asked coldly not minding his anger.
"Tsk! That other girl isn't still back which is pissing me off more! Blimey! It was clearly ordered to stay in your dorms because it's not safe!" He scolded, grumbling as another wisp of fire slipped from his nostrils. "Hurry up and go inside!" he snapped, opening the door.
"Kids this days!"
As the door shut, Steve’s exasperated voice trailed off behind her. "Kids these days!"

Seraphine immediately spotted some of her dormmates in the common room, gathered together and happily chatting. A blonde- haired girl with ocean-blue eyes noticed her as she smiled and started waving at her.

"Hello, Seraphine, right? Wanna join us?" She asked with a sweet smile on her lips.
The other girls all looked at her with an awkward smile. Seraphine just shook her head before heading towards her and Estrellia's room.
"She's so weird, Elora." A short, light-brown-haired woman stated while staring at Seraphine's walking figure.
"And scary." A curly, black-haired woman added as she rubbed her arms when she felt goosebumps.
Elora turned to them with a big smile on her face. "I think she just needs to get used to this place and some friends too." Elora replied.
The two girls glanced at each other and smiled as they looked back at Elora with admiration in their eyes.
'Billie is so kind!' They both thought and nodded.
