Chapter 5

"That's all for today, class dismissed." -Professor Hawk

Estrellia immediately looked around to find her roommate. Her eyes gleamed when she saw Seraphine quietly staring outside the window, so she immediately stood up and ran towards her.

"Seraaaa~"

Seraphine turned to look in her direction when she heard a familiar voice calling her name. Her eyebrows arched when she saw Estrellia running towards her while waving her hand.

"Seraphine! Can we eat lunch together? Pretty pleaseee." Estrellia made a puppy dog eyes while pouting, but Seraphine just looked at her blankly.

"No." She coldly replied and looked again outside the window.

"Pleaseeee! Come on-"

"Estrellia, you're so noisy."

Her words were cut off by the person sitting next to Seraphine, which made her annoyed. Her pleading expression turned sour, and she faced him while her hand was on her waist.

"Shut up Elros, I'm not talking to you." Estrellia hissed and rolled her eyes before turning her attention back on Seraphine.

"I don't know why I have such an annoying twin sister." Elros stated with a sour face and scoff.

'That's why they look exactly the same.'

Seraphine thought without looking at them. Estrellia didn't mind him and continued pursuing her.

"Okay class, go back to your proper seats."

Estrellia turned gloomy when their professor came in.

"I'll be back." She declared with a smile, but her smile dropped when she turned to Elros. "Hmp." After giving him a glare, she stormed off.

Elros shook his head and glanced at Seraphine for a moment before focusing his attention at the front.

"Hello students! I'm professor Morgana Virella, your spells and potion professor." Professor Virella introduced herself, raising her wand, and a thick book appeared. "Today, I'm going to teach you the spell called 'Lêvitàs Asçendã'. It's a spell to make an object or someone float. It's best to use this spell for smaller and lighter objects, and you need to use a lot of energy and focus to use it for big and heavy things."

Professor Virella pointed her wand at the cup on top of the table before chanting a spell.

"Lêvitàs Asçendã." Professor Virella chanted, and the cup floated.

The class applauded and looked at the cup with mesmerized eyes.

"You need to swish and swoosh your wand two times and chant the spell correctly."-Professor Virella

She moved her wand, and the cup moved in the same direction. She put the cup down and cast another spell, and cups appeared on the student' table.

"Try it."-Professor Virella

They did what she ordered and tried to make the cup float on their table.

"Lêvitàs Asçendã!"

"Lêvitàs-arghh!! Why won't it float!"

"Float, you dumb cup!"

Seraphine looked at the blonde-haired girl who belonged to the legendary guild, she was furiously moving her wand while chanting the spell incorrectly.

"Why aren't you doing it yet?" Elros asked Seraphine when he noticed her not doing anything. He smirked and looked at her mockingly. "Ohh, you don't know how to? I'll show you." And with that, he raised his wand and swished it two times before casting the spell. "Lêvitàs Asçendã." When the cup floated, his grew wider and he looked at her confidently.

Seraphine just looked at him blankly and glanced at the cup in front of her.

'I don't have much energy for this basics spell'

Seraphine mentally said before raising her wand.

"Lêvitàs Asçendã."

The cup floated for two seconds before it dropped. She heard his seatmate laugh, mocking her.

Elros was about to say something when someone suddenly slammed the door open.

"Professor Virella! A student was found turned to stone in the men's bathroom!" The man who just came in said in panic.

Whispers filled the room as most of the students felt terrified by the news.

"Everyone, calm down! All of you, go to your dormitory and do not leave until we professors say so. All representative of the different guilds, escort your guild members to their dorms." Ordered by professor Virella and hurried towards the person who came in.

Seraphine watched as the two of them walked out of the room.

"Mythical, follow me."

"All Guardians, follow me from behind."

"Legendary guild, come to me."

Three tall men who served as the leader from different guild stood up and called their groups.

Seraphine suddenly remembered Spade and immediately stood up. Elros didn't mind her and thought that she was just going to Xavier who's the representative of Mythical, but he was wrong.

"Sera! Where are you going?!" Estrellia shouted when she saw Seraphine walk past Xavier and head towards the door.

"Hey, where are you going?! It's dangerous out there!" Xavier exclaimed and hurried towards her, grabbing her wrist.

Seraphine looked directly at his eyes, and Xavier released let go of her wrist when he saw her cold yet deadly eyes.

Elros watched her exit the room and shrugged.

"Seraphine! Where are you going?!" Estrellia shouted and ran towards her.

Elros' eyes widened when he saw his twin sister suddenly run towards the door and leave the room.

"Estrellia!" Elros groaned in frustration and ran towards the door while cursing in his mind.

Xavier felt like his soul had left his body when three of his guild members had left the room.

"Damn it!" Xavier yelled in frustration, which made them startled and shocked as this was the first time they seen and heard him yell in frustration.

"Are those three suicidal?" A blonde-haired woman from the Legendary Guild muttered after watching those three wizards leave the room.
