"This is the training area where all students train their combat skills and magic." Xander explained with a big smile on his face while the new students followed him from behind.

With her emotionless charcoal eyes, Seraphine scanned the place, and even she couldn't help being astonished.

The training area is an expansive open field surrounded by ancient stone pillars, with glowing rune-inscribed circles marking different combat zones. Scattered around were enchanted dummies for spell targeting, weapon racks brimming with magical staves and enchanted blades, and elemental barriers that tested defensive skills.

'This place isn't that bad after all' Seraphine thought to herself as they started walking away from the place.

"I'm going to show you the elixir chamber where we make potions." Xander said excitedly.

"This place is so cool!"

"You bet!"

"And Xander is really good-looking."

"I know, right? Hahaha."

Seraphine couldn't help creasing her forehead while the two female students kept whispering and giggling in front of her.

'They're being annoying. Should I kill them?'

Her face darkened while thinking if she should kill them or not. The two female students stopped talking when they suddenly felt a chilling aura behind them. They looked at each other, then turned to look behind. Their eyes widen when they met Seraphine's cold, intense stare.

They instantly felt terrified as if Seraphine could kill them any moment.

"S-Sorry!" They apologized in unison, stuttering and dashed off to join the other students.

'Well, that solved it' Seraphine thought as she slowly walked behind her group.

After a few minutes of walking, they reached the academy's alchemy wing. Xander was about to open the door when it suddenly opened, and a tall woman with red curly hair, wearing a white robe and goggles, came out.

"Oh hey, Xander, and to you guys. What brings you here?" She asked with a smile as she took off her goggles.

"I'm just showing them around the academy, Professor Virella. I have permission from the headmistress."-Xander

"I see..." Professor Virella looked at them with a big smile.
"I'm Morgana Virella, I will be your professor in Spells and Potion class starting tomorrow." She introduced herself, and all of the students bowed and greeted her. Well, except for Seraphine and Xander, but she didn't notice Seraphine, who was hidden behind the other students.

Professor Virella tapped Xander's shoulder before she started walking away.

"Let's proceed everyone." -Xander

He opened the door, revealing a bright room with high-ceilinged space. Sunlight filters through tall arched windows, illuminating rows of wooden tables filled with bubbling cauldrons, vials, and neatly labeled jars of exotic ingredients. Shelves lined with spellbooks and potion recipes stretch along the walls, while enchanted flames hover beneath cauldrons, ensuring perfect temperatures.

They were all in awe as they looked around. The room buzzed with the soft hum of magical energy, making them feel instantly comfortable.

"Please don't touch anything to avoid any accidents." Xander warned and they all nodded in unison as they roamed around the place.

Meanwhile, Seraphine looked around, and her gaze stopped on a serpent statue on the ceiling.

'That's interesting... A serpent statue on the ceiling? Is it just for design or for something else?'

She narrowed her eyes, focusing on it.

"What are you looking at?"

Seraphine didn't flinch nor show any hint of emotion when Xander suddenly appeared beside her.

He looked up to see what she was looking at and saw the serpent statue.

"Weird, isn't? Even I get curious why there's a serpent statue on the ceiling." Xander remarked with his hand on his chin.
"What's your name?." He asked, flashing his bright, perfect teeth and holding out his hand for a handshake.

She looked at his hand and then at his chocolate-brown eyes with a blank face, showing no interest, before walking away.

Xander scratched his head in embarrassment as he watched her.

"Interesting..." He muttered, letting out a soft chuckle.

After they finished at the elixir lab, Xander showed them the enchanted garden filled with fairies, the huge library, the academic chamber, cafeteria, sport feild, spellcasting arena, and the dormitory where Seraphine was currently settling in. It was getting late, so Xander only showed them those locations even though there was a lot more to see.

"I'm so happy to have a roommate!!" A ginger-haired girl said excitedly as her eyes sparkling in excitement.

"I'm Estrellia, meaning a star! You know, I think we'll be besties forever!" Estrelia started talking nonstop with a big bright smile on her face, while Seraphine just stared at her gloomily.
"What's your name?" Estrelia asked excitedly.

Seraphine raised her wand and looked at her blankly.

"Seraphine." She swished her wand while chanting a spell. "Aegis Obscura."

A white glowing light surrounded half the room, deviding it so Estrelia couldn't come towards her.

Seraphine looked at her one last time before lying on her bed.

"She knows how to make a barrier?" Estrelia muttered to herself, while staring at her with her jaw slightly dropped.

=========================================

A/N:

Estrellia and Seraphine are sharing one room since it's big. Estrellia's bed is on the right side while her is on the left side.
