SEASON 3, EP. 8
A Very Supernatural Christmas (pt.2)

Another call had come in early this morning, it was the same as the last crime scene. The husband had been taken and there was really no trace left behind to show that there was any struggle, the only difference in this case was that the wife had also gone through a struggle.

Beau looked around the home, looking for anything out of place, but everything was the same as last time. A few Christmas decorations littered the floor and the same sweet scent from their first victims house flooded his nostrils.

He looks around the living room, his eyes lock onto a familiar wreath hanging on the fireplace. It looked and smelt like the one he saw yesterday. He calls for Sam, who was upstairs looking in the parents bedroom.

"Did you find something?" He jumps off of the last step and takes long strides to get to him, his eyes follow his finger pointing at the wreath.

"Our last victim and his wife had the same wreath on their door." He looks at Sam and shrugs his shoulders, "we might have a lead with this."

Sam thought back to what else he found in both houses, and aside from the usual Christmas decorations littered on the floor, and both kids seeing Santa 'take daddy,' there was nothing new. Sam shrugs and takes a breath in, "yea, it does seem a little weird that both our houses had the same wreath, and they both got attacked."

The two walk to the kitchen where Dean is once they both agree that these attacks have something to do with the wreaths. They Dean back at the kitchen where he's talking to the wife of their victim. "Did you see the attacker?"

She sniffles and shakes her head as she recalls the events of last night, "it was dark, and he hit me. He knocked me out."

Dean shakes his head as he tries to console her. "I'm sorry. I know this is hard."

Beau and Sam interrupt and ruin the soft moment of consolation with what seemed to be an irrelevant and insensitive question at the time. "Yeah... Uh, Mrs. Caldwell, where - where did you get that wreath above the fireplace?"

Dean looks around until his eyes lock onto the wreath sitting above the fireplace in the living room, he blinks, a little puzzled at the find and that he hadn't even noticed it when he walked in.

Mrs. Caldwell gave the two men a confused look, her face red and eyes puffy and bruised, "excuse me?"

Beau and Sam can feel Dean look at them, waiting for their answer. Sam shrugs and gives her an embarrassed smile, "just curious, you know."

----

"Wreaths, huh? Sure you didn't want to ask her about her shoes? I saw some nice handbags in the foyer." Dean's sarcastic voice fills the impala as he looks at the two other men with him.

Beau leans forward so his face is in between Sam and Dean's seat. "We saw the same exact wreath yesterday."

Dean turns his head to look at him, his brows furrowed together, "where?" His eyes look to Sam when he answers his question. "The Walshes'. Yesterday."

Dean gives them a cheeky smile, and starts the car. "I know. I was just testing you."

Beau leans back into his seat with a loud quick laugh, quickly stopping when Dean turns and gives him a look. Sam scoffs at his brother making him turn back around to give him a quick look before stepping on the gas pedal and driving away from the house.

-----

Now sitting in Dean and Sam's motel room, Beau and Dean wait for Sam to get done talking to Bobby on the phone to see if he has any clue as to what they're dealing with.
