SEASON 3, EP. 6
Red Sky at Morning (pt.2)

Beau sat lazily in a chair flipping through a book, Sam is also looking through a book, and Dean is on his phone. Beau yawned and stretched, letting out a satisfied groan, feeling his muscles stretch.

Knocks rapped at the door. No one getting up to see who it is. Beau looked at Sam, who didn't even try to get up and get it, then he looked at Dean, waving his hand to try and get his attention. Dean glanced up from his phone and held up a finger before turning away.

Throwing his arms up and throwing himself from the chair, he walked towards the door as more knocks began to ring out. Beau checks the door and sees that it's Bela. She smiles at him and takes a step towards the door before having it slammed in her face and locked.

Bela jerked her head in confusion, staring at the door for a second before knocking again, waiting for someone to open it.

The door cracks open, revealing Dean this time, A dissatisfied look rolling across his face, he looks back at Sam and Beau before turning back towards Bela and fully opening the door.

Bela steps in, "dear - " she looks around the house when she enters, "- god. Are you actually squatting? Charming." She kept looking around the house, a disgusted look on her face, "so how'd things go last night with Peter?"

The boys don't respond, "that well, huh?"

Dean looked at her with a scowl on his face, "if you say 'I told you so', I swear to God, i'll start swinging."

She sighed, "look, I think the four of us should have a heart to heart."

"That's assuming you have a heart."

Bela gave Dean a look, "Dean, please... I'm sorry about what I said before, okay? I come bearing gifts."

Sam looked at her hearing that, "such as?" Bela pulls out a portfolio, "I've ID'd the ship." She takes a picture out of the ship handing it to Dean, "It's the Espírito Santo, a merchant sailing vessel, quite a colorful history. In 1859, a sailor was accused of treason. He was tried aboard ship in a kangaroo court and hanged. He was 37."

"Which would explain the 37-year cycle," Sam said.

Bela smirked at him, "aren't you a sharp tack?" She pauses for a moment before coming back, "there's a photo of him somewhere..." she flips through the file before stopping, "here." She hands the boys a picture. Dean pointed at the picture and looked at the two beside him, "isn't that the guy we saw last night?"

Bela looked at them, her eyes widening, "you saw him?"

"Yea, that's him, except he was missing a hand."

"His right hand?"

Sam quirked an eyebrow, "how'd you know?"

Bela explained the story of the sailor, "the sailor's body was cremated, but not before they cut off his hand to make a hand of glory."

Dean's face lit up with a smirk, "a hand of glory? I think I got one of those at the end of my Thai massage last week." He laughs a little bit causing Sam and Beau to roll their eyes. "Dean, the right hand of a hanged man is a serious occult item. It's very powerful."

Bela objected, "so they say."

"And officially counts as remains," Dean pointed out.

Beau sighed, shaking his head in confusion, "still doesn't explain why the ghost is choosing these victims. What did they do?" Dean and Sam shrug. Bela had a look on her face, "I'll tell you why. Who cares? Find the hand, burn it, and stop the bloody thing."
