Death of Kartvirya

After enjoying his rule of more than 88,000 years which was much longer than any other king in Sanatan history, the arrogant Kartvirya Arjun was enjoying his life with his wives and was sitting on his throne arrogantly,then one of his gatekeeper comes and inform Kartvirya about the arrival of Bhagwan Parshuram.

Gatekeeper:- Samrat Kartvirya ki jai ho
Maharshi Jamadagni Putra Parshuram has arrived in palace mahishmati and is asking for your permission to enter.

Kartavirya Arjun:- Jamdagini Putra allows him to enter.

As per the orders gatekeeper Bhagwan Parshuram enters........

Kartavirya:- Hey Brahman what makes you come to my kingdom

Parshuram:- Kartvirya I have heard everything from my father about what you have done in the Ashram.

It's because of my father you are alive otherwise instead of in this magnificent Palace your dead body would be seen in the burial ground.

I ask you to return our Kamdhenu which you have stolen from my father
It would be better for you and your kingdom.

During this Kartvirya becomes angry.......

Kartavirya:- You dares to challenge me for a fight
Don't you know who I am I am the ruler of seven continents
I have defeated the mighty Ravan who is the king of Demons and you think a normal Brahmin boy like you can kill me

Parshuram:- Hey you arrogant ruler don't invite your death after saying these words I can single handedly kill your entire Army along with you and your sons.
You don't know about me I am a student of Lord Mahadev himself.
And never dares to underestimate any Brahmin you would get to know what would happen if a Brahmin raises his arms.

Kartavirya:- This is what I want I know about from this from lord varundev that only you can defeat me.
So I went to your aashram along with my army but you were not here so I decided to take your Kamdhenu from your father.
Parshuram I challenge you for a fight then it would decide who is powerful me or you.

Parshuram:- So you want to fight with me kartvirya so ok prepare with your Army in the battleground I would come as your death.

Hearing this Bhagwan Parshuram stormed out from the palace of Kartvirya.

The next day Kartvirya on his divine chariot was given by Lord Dattatreya and with his entire Army with multiple kings and commanders were prepared for the fight.

On the other side Bhagwan Parshuram who is in a normal attire of a sage with a divine parshu on left hand and divine Pinak Dhanush on his other hand with two Akshay Tunir given by Lord Indra hanging on his back and he was without a chariot.

Seeing this Kartvirya started to make fun of him.

Kartavirya:- Hey Brahmin if you can't afford a chariot and shield then can I give you one

Parshuram:- I don't need a chariot to kill you I can kill you even without a chariot.
But obviously you are scared that's why you are on the divine chariot of Bhagwan Dattatreya polluting its purity as an adharmi like you is mounted on that divine chariot.
