Arthur Leywin

I woke up to the sound of Regis complaints as someone was knocking on the door to my room. Quickly getting up, I made my way to the bathroom to wash my face and then got dressed. Walking out of the bedroom I heard Tess mumbling and giggling about something I was doing in her dream, but decided not to think much of it as it had become a somewhat common occurrence.

Opening the door I saw Seele sitting on the stairs and turning her head towards me after hearing me.

"Dragon boy! Go wake up Sylvie and meet me at the training grounds in ten minutes." Seele said as she got up and went down the stairs without giving me time to say anything.

Feeling a headache was waiting for me today, I grabbed an apple from the kitchen and started trying to wake up Sylvie through our bond. Unfortunately she took after me in her sleeping habits and was a pain to wake up, so I went to her room to use more physical methods.

After much struggling, I finally got her out of bed. It deftly took more than ten minutes, but that's what Seele gets for waking me up at five in the morning.

Walking up to the door of the training grounds Sylvie and I stopped. We didn't need words or our bond to know what the other was thinking. His presence was concealed just enough so that it didn't feel like an Asura. The shocking part wasn't that he was here, after all he had been watching over Sylvie for a while now, but from a distance. So for what possible reason was Windsom showing himself now.

Deciding it would be better to get the answer from the person himself I looked over to Sylvie and she gave me a nod, so I opened the door and we entered.

Inside were the two Asura talking about something, or rather, fighting considering the scowl on Windsom's face. Noticing me and Sylvie, they stopped whatever it was they were doing and turned towards us, with Seele being the first to speak.

"I said ten minutes, dragon boy! What took you so long?" She asked with fake indignation.

"Maybe if it wasn't five in the morning I would've been here sooner. Plus, Sylvie is a heavy sleeper." I answered her.

"Oh well, not my time you're wasting anyway. Here, meet Windsom, the guy who was stalking our princess." Seele said with a smile, making Windsom scowl at her again.

"As I told you before, Lord Indrath tasked me with Lady Sylvie's protection. I am in no way stalking her." Windsom replied, clearly annoyed before looking at us and introducing himself. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you in person, Lady Sylvie, Lord Arthur." He finished with a small bow.

"Lord Arthur, huh? I guess they will at least pretend to respect you this time around." Sylvie talked through our bond with mild amusement.

"If it makes things easier, then I'm not complaining." I replied to her.

"It's nice to finally see you in person Windsom, rather than just feeling your presence every so often." Sylvie said, trying to keep her tone polite but still letting out just enough of her real feelings to make sure Windsom knew his actions weren't appreciated. And it seems to have worked, seeing the man flinch a little.

"My apologies Lady Sylvie. I was ordered to keep a low profile and not show myself unless necessary."

"If that is the case then I suppose it is fine, but you still could've at least introduced yourself."

"I'll be sure not to make the same mistake again." Windsom said and Sylvie nodded satisfied, not from his apology but from being able to bully him a little.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Windsom." I said as I offered a handshake and could feel Regis was snickering through our connection at the blatant lie. Surprisingly he took the handshake, confirming Sylvie's statement earlier.
