Just a little fluff to try and get my flow back

Wade hung out the window like a dog, music blaring on the car speakers. His boyfriend, Logan was driving, sneaking a glance at Wade, chuckling.

"You're gonna fall out!" He warned.

"Don't worry about me, I have the grip of a young baboon!" Wade laughed, watching the scenery around them.

"Sure bub," the brunette rolled his eyes, glancing at the map. They were driving quite fast down a mountain road, the sun warm, and the sky clear. They'd been planning this camping trip for a while now, if you could call it that. Logan had a little cabin up in Canada, and they planned to stay there for a while, to get a break for the world for a while. Mary Puppins barked from the backseat, standing on the center armrest and watching out the front window. Logan hated to admit it, but he'd grown to love the ugly little rat, and they had embraced her like their own child. Which was why she was now wearing a little pink sweater, despite the hot July weather. Wade never let her leave the house naked.

They'd purchased their car, a gray Honda odyssey, as a sort of tribute, to saving the timeline and all that. Even though Logan hadn't proposed yet, they both introduced each other to everyone as husbands, and they never corrected the other. If you had told Logan two years ago that he would be happily tied down with the most annoying mercenary in the sacred timeline, he would have laughed his ass off. But now, he wouldn't change this for the world. He never considered himself the domestic type, but he'd settled into this life without much trouble.

"We're here!"

The two men climbed out of the car, Mary hopping out after them.

"It's beautiful, Peanut," Wade looked at the gorgeous view of the forest below them, the warm wind ruffling the trees. Logan studied the little house, a strange sense of nostalgia washing over him. He had memories in this house. He didn't remember any of it, but he was sure they were important.

Mary barked at him, dropping a stick at his feet.

"Here you are sweetheart," he whispered, smiling affectionately as he tossed the stick for her, and she ran after it happily. He felt Wade watching him, and flushed with embarrassment, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Quit starin' and help me unload the car, would ya!" He opened the trunk, and Wade ran to help.

That evening, they chatted happily over dinner, Mary begging at their feet.

"So, how are you likin' it?" Logan asked, taking a bite of his food.

"It's amazing, thank you kitty," Wade grinned. They ate in silence for a moment, but not an uncomfortable one. They had an understanding that they didn't need to fill every moment with words, and that sometimes simply being in each other's company was good.

After dinner, they sat by the fireplace, cuddled up on the couch, whispering quietly to each other. Mary was asleep on the floor by the fire, snoring softly.

"I love you baby," Logan whispered, kissing Wade on the forehead. Wade cuddled closer to him, humming happily.

"I love you too Kitty, thank you for taking us out here. It's nice to have some time with you, without work or mission's or the x-men. Just us." The scarred man trailed his hands up Logan's shirt, rubbing his bare skin.

"Anythin' for you Wade, I know we needed a break. I hate seeing you so stressed my darlin'" the Wolverine cupped Wade's face and leaned in close, gaze full of love and attentiveness, with a hint of worry.

"You always know me best kitty," Wade smiled, closing the distance and kissing the other man softly, his hands now spread on Logan's chest under his shirt as he climbed into the bigger man's lap.

"Mm, Wade..." Logan mumbled, pulling away for a moment.

"Bedroom?" The Merc asked breathlessly.

"Thought you'd never ask," Logan grinned playfully, grabbing Wade and tossing him over his shoulder, making him squeal.

The next day, they were hiking through the woods, Mary close at their heels. They stopped in a clearing, and Wade ran through the grass, laughing as the dog chased him, barking happily. He rolled on the ground, and Logan shook his head with amusement. The Wolverine smirked, running and pouncing on the Merc, who shrieked and giggled as they wrestled in the grass, Mary yapping and wagging her tail. Finally, Logan managed to pin Wade down, and the Merc could only watch the older man laugh, the sun shining behind him, his five o'clock shadow, and mutton chops, the freckles dotting his cheeks, the crinkles at the corners of his eyes. He was perfect.

"Enjoying the view, sunshine?" He teased, kissing Wade on the neck, his facial hair tickling his neck. Wade giggled, squirming and pretending to try and push the heavier man off of him. After his assault on Wade's neck, he rolled over, and they watched fluffy clouds overhead. Mary settled at their feet, basking in the warmth of the sun.

"That one looks like a crocodile," Logan chuckled, pointing at a cloud.

"Mm, I'd say it looks more like a dick," Wade made the shape with his finger, and Logan groaned.

"I hate you," the short-haired man rubbed his temple.

"Mm, sure kitty, that's not what you said last night when I was fucki-" a large hand slapped over his mouth.

"Shh, look at the clouds," Logan whispered, and Wade laughed, licking his hand.

"Eugh! You're disgusting!" Logan frantically wiped his hand, making a face.

"You didn't say that about my tongue when I was-"

"Shut the fuck up!"
