"So, how's school?" Logan asked. Wade and Logan were walking down the street hand in hand. A light layer of snow covered everything, and the early February air was brisk and sharp. Logan had graduated the June before, but Wade still had a year and a half to go.

"Boring! Weasel's got a girlfriend so I'm just chopped liver," Wade rolled his eyes, but a playful smile danced on his lips. They crossed the street, chatting quietly as they entered the secondhand store. The little bell dinged, and the cashier looked up.
"Good afternoon boys," she looked back at what she was doing.
"Afternoon miss Sully," the two boys made their way towards the DVD section, Wade's backpack slung over his shoulder.
"Do you have it?" Wade asked the guy working nearby, Zachary.
"We got it!" He whipped out a Fallout three disk, and Logan and Wade squealed with excitement.
Wade snatched it and the two studied it, before opening it to reveal what they had been searching for all year.
"I can't believe we finally got it in our hands," Logan whispered in bewilderment.
"Thanks so much Zach, you're a legend," Wade grinned.
"Just a humble good will employee," the dark haired boy shrugged.

They walked around the store for a while, looking at mugs and niknaks.
"What about this one?" Wade held up a shirt.
"Eugh, put that back, that ain't a shirt, it's a tragedy," Logan wrinkled up his face.
"God you're so gay," Wade teased, putting the shirt back.
"Says you, the one who paints his nails" Logan quipped.
"Your favorite color is yellow, so," Wade stuck his tongue out.
"Touché, my friend," Logan went back to browsing the shirts.

After they paid for the game and a few shirts, they grabbed pizza, eating it as they walked towards the movie theater. They were going to see Friday the 13th. Logan bought the tickets (17+) and they grabbed popcorn. As they sat down, Logan slung an arm over his boyfriend's shoulder, kissing his cheek softly. Wade blushed, leaning against him.

As the movie started, the lights went down, and Wade shoved popcorn in his mouth.

It was dark when they finally left the theater, and Logan walked with his hand on Wade's lower back protectively.

They sat on the bus together, chatting about the movie and how excited they were to play their new game the following weekend. They got to Wade's stop, and he reluctantly stood, putting on his bag.

"Thank you, for today," they kissed softly, and Logan stroked his cheek lovingly.
"See you next weekend?"
"See you next weekend," Wade kissed him one more time before getting off the bus, waving at his boyfriend as it pulled away.

Wade's mother had banned them from hanging out on school nights after she found out they were together, and no sleepover's. It could be worse, knowing her.

The summer came quickly. Flowers bloomed and school was out. On the last day of his junior year, Wade could not have been more relieved. He followed the crowd out to the parking lot, scanning the lot for his boyfriend's beat up Chevy truck. He'd totaled his Volvo last spring, and used all his money to buy this truck because his parents wouldn't buy him a new one. He didn't mind. Wade jogged over to him, tossing his bag into the bed of the truck and climbing into the passenger seat.

"Hey baby," they kissed softly as Logan started the truck. As the engine roared to life, Logan followed the line of cars out of the parking lot.

"I can't wait for our trip," Wade sat on his bed, phone to his ear, the cord twirling between his fingers. He was on his stomach, kicking his feet.
"Me neither, I can't believe your mom said yes," Logan was in the kitchen of his little apartment, phone to his ear as he chopped carrots.
"Can I have the phone now?" Scott, now his roommate, grumbled, peeking into the kitchen.
"Fifteen minutes! And isn't Jean coming over?" Logan asked, rolling his eyes.
"Ten minutes," he grumbled, pushing his glasses up like a nerd as he stalked off.
"Sorry 'bout him, he wants to talk to his little girlfriend," Logan chucked.
"Then what am I?" Wade giggled, rolling over onto his back.
"Mm, a homo?" He offered.
"Rude! I'm bisexual actually," Wade reminded him.
"Sure sure. Look, do you have everything packed? We leave early tomorrow,"

They were going on a road trip for a whole week, something they'd been planning for a while.

"Yup, dildo's and everything," he teased.

"God you're disgusting," Logan scrunched his face, but he was smiling.

"My turn!" Scott stomped into the kitchen.

"I gotta go babe, love you! I'll pick you up at 8!" He hung up, reluctantly handing over the phone and going back to cooking.
