Chapter 17

Jungkook's POV:

If someone asks me to name the relationship between Y/N and I, I don't know what it could be. We're married, but I don't know if there's love in it.
I don't know if Y/N feels the same way like I do, or am I the only one feeling this way. We bicker, We deal things together, and there are a few moments where we tried to get intimate together, but it never felt like that's done out of love.

Neither Y/N nor I are to be blamed here because both of us got into this together. The marriage made out of a business deal. I agree, I've pushed the buttons of Y/N by telling our dad's that we're okay to get married, though she asked me to do it the other way, but she never denied. She would've called off the wedding any moment she wanted to, but she never did. Somehow, that puzzled me a lot of times thinking why she didn't do it if she badly wanted to. Or, she wanted this to happen. Or, she didn't get a chance to talk about this to her dad. I don't know.

I wanted to put a full stop to whatever we're doing right now. Behaving like we're some strangers or some business partners. We never tried to sit and talk like adults to make this marriage work. In my point of view, efforts matter for anything to work. Be it Business or your personal life. Both Y/N and I didn't try to put effort until now, which I believe. As we're married right now, we have to lead our together till our last breath. So, I decided to start putting efforts from my side. It's her birthday tomorrow, so that should be a good start, right?

While I was busy in my thoughts, my phone chimed, notifying me of the message I've received from an unknown number. Not again. I've been receiving some threats about Y/N since a month for now. The first one was the paper, which I found in my car and which read, " Y/N is Mine." I tried to find out who it could be, but I didn't find any clue. I clicked on the notification that directly took me to the message that read, " Take care of Y/N." What do they mean by that? Is she in danger?

The urge to find out who it could be raised even more after reading the message, so I quickly pulled out my phone to inform Hobi about this. Hobi is helping me to find out about the unknown. We even thought to secretly maintain some guards to protect Y/N, but she would easily find out. I don't want Y/N to know about this or even stress much about this. I decided to take the matter into my hands.

"Shall we leave?" Y/N enquired while looking at me, ready to go to the office together. She looked stunning in that light blue blazer and skirt, and I kept staring at her.

She waved her hand in front of my face and uttered, " Hello! Shall we leave?" . Yeah, I replied and got ready to leave, smiling to myself like an idiot.

Soon after we reached the office, hobi and Lily were already standing there with all the required documents for our next meeting today. Y/N left inside the room along with Lily while hobi stopped me for a talk. He dragged me towards the meeting room, which is empty for now, and uttered, " There's  a flower bouquet we've received for Y/N with a note on it. I've sensed something wrong and thought of showing it to you before we give it to Y/N. What if that unknown is trying to reach out to Y/N just like you?", he handed over the bouquet.

His words made sense. I don't want Y/N to get stressful before her birthday, and I'm really glad hobi handled the situation very well. I quickly scanned the flowers and opened the note which read,  "Encuéntrame en mi casa esta noche♡". Is this Spanish? I quickly opened a translator app to translate it and found out what it read, " Meet me at my place tonight♡"

Who would ask Y/N to meet ? Is the unknown reaching out to her, too, just like me?  Why didn't she tell me?

"What's Wrong? What does it mean?",  hobi enquired. Someone is asking her for a meet, I responded. "Does this mean the unknown is reaching out to her too? ", Hobi questioned as kf he read my earlier thoughts." I don't know. The notes and messages I've received are in English. But this one is in Spanish. It couldn't be the same person or It could be. Even the handwriting seems different to me," I informed.
