"Look at all these women, here just for you." Jon whispered.

"You can have my rejects." Garrett assured. "There will be many."

"No, I couldnt, wouldn't dare." Jon countered but a few ladies caught his gaze and had his head turning, craning his neck to watch them walk away.

"RIght." Garrett drawled. "You dont have to be a saint."

"You are." Jon countered. Garrett shrugged.

"It's more to be the opposite of my father and not finding the right person." Garrett countered. Arya beamed back at him.

" what are you wearing? This is a celebration you look like you just climbed out of the sewer." Sansa declared " you're going to make me look!"

"How i dress is going to make you look bad?" Arya countered.

" go away and get changed." Sansa urged shoving her off.

"SOmetimes you have to kiss a few frogs to find your... I dont think i'm saying that right." Jon decided.

"I get what you mean." Garrett assured. "Here," he passed of a glass of wine. "Trust me when I say you dont have to go through one of these parties sober. A little liquid courage will go a long way." Garrett looked to his already drunk father as ned made his way through the people- the women- to Garrett.

"My prince, your mother puts together quite the party." Ned remarked.

"She loves these things, she is in total control of every little thing and the festivities havent even started. It's supposed to start tomorrow." Garrett added.

"All these women came early? Because they want you?" Jon questioned. Garrett chuckled glancing around.

"Is it that hard to believe? Am I so hideous?" Garrett teased.

"You know what I mean." Jon countered. Ned liked that they spoke like they were old friends, hoped that the tradition of stark and Baratheon friendship would last.

"All these women want to be queen one day, they dont want me."

"No they want you." Jon assured. "The queen part is just a bonus."

"Joffrey," Garrett summoned. "Why dont you go and talk to Sansa? She looks bored."

"I dont want to talk to her." Joffrey countered. "She's boring."  Garrett rolled his eyes pushing through the crowd of women. Sansa straightened as Garrett approached.

"Hello my prince."

"Hello my lady." Garrett answered. "Have you tried the Arbor gold wine?" he held out his glass, her lips found the spot where his has touched and it was almost like she was kissing him.

"It's lovely.'' She breathed back.

" not enjoying the party? Or should I say the pre-party party?" He mused

"Oh i am i really am."

"Then why are you hiding here all alone?" Garrett countered.

" I don't fit in. Not with these ladies. Plus, I'm already engaged." she reminded him.

" oh yes, my unfortunate brother I'm sorry about that." Garrett agreed she didn't correct him. He knew his brother best after all. " speaking of siblings where is your sister?" Garrett asked looking around.

" she wasn't fit for a party. Don't worry about her - are you enjoying the party? It must be exciting the prospect of a future wife." Sansa offered.

" for women the idea of marriage is much greater than it is for men." he corrected honestly.
