Okay, so it's a new age and I see familiar nation such as Egypt, Greece, Persia, etc thriving well across the Middle East, Balkan and Northern Africa.

Oh, it's not the modern age yet, this is the most familiar time when larger nations had began to rapidly emerged in the later years before A.D came around.

I can already see the Roman who were busy with their own campaigns in Italy and against Carthage.

So was still before the heights of Rome and Greece was still in its golden days, nation states like Athens and Sparta are still there.

Plus with their gods there to guide and rule over them from their abode in the sky.

Though if there's one thing I learned it's that most gods are pricks and they don't care much about their own followers.

Yes, this is evident in that one movie of Thor being involved and is the reason why the God Butcher was born in the first place.

Only a few are decent enough but the rest on the other hand? Yeah, they were absolute assholes of the highest order.

One of the reason why I don't even try and make contact with most gods is for that reason and a few others.

Although depending on the god, I might just be less hostile or wary and more open.

Hestia and Hades were descent despite being part of their messed up pantheon ruled by their thunder king of all pricks.

Which is a miracle even then I'm not yet sure to make contact given my reputation as the God-Eater is well known amongst the divine community.

I admit, I was being ruthless when I had to dealt with the gods that tried to interfere with my affairs.

It was just a brief moment of thought during the early ages of Osenia that I decided to develop a weapon.

It was basically the reason why they had decided to call me as the God-Eater since I made a unit that devoured gods.

That wasn't truly a weapon of war and more of a defense oriented unit and a resource harvester.

How insulted and hurt the gods must be if they find out they were devoured by a resource harvester of all things rather than a genuine war of mass destruction.

But anyway, I didn't want to cause panic amongst them nor I'm interested in even interacting with any of the pantheons in Europe.

The Chinese and Indians pantheons are more reclusive and prefer to stay within their sphere of influence.

Respecting mine so I respected theirs to, I gave instructions to the Osenians and to make sure no incident would be caused between me and the other pantheons on Asia.

America was off limits and Osenia had no interest in expanding given the Pacific is already big and their ability to construct islands, underwater and skies cities made the Osenians focus inward.

Their population had reached 1.8 billion in the following millenia but had to slow down or limit the population growth or else the world would become overpopulated.

Lucky that's easy enough while also not jeopardizing their ability to reproduce, by the time the modern age arrives they would have a 4.1 billion size population.

Was I content for now? Yes, I am and I'm a bit curious of doing some experiments to further refine my Aetheriths forces.

Europe was just a good sight to try and test it and probably give a god a one or two blackeye after their latest stunts against my people.
