So the galaxy I am in was dominated by five major powers and 30 minor powers who are either subservient or are a part of one of the major powers?

Well that's quite an interesting Intel but not that worried me much, based on the data I had gathered from those Pirates.

Most of the major powers are Tier 2 and aren't that close in reaching Tier 3 aka a Galactic Level threat.

But underestimating them would be a stupid and shortsighted action for me, I learned from watching stuff back in my old world that you don't underestimate the enemy.

It was a rule as old as human civilization had existed on earth, from basic instinct to becoming unparalleled geniuses that outmaneuver one another.

So I'm going to stay quietly in my part of the galaxy away from the reaches of any of those civilizations and make sure that no one could reach me.

Lucky enough I was located on what is known as Dark Space or the edges of the galaxy that no one particularly likes to go due to the weird phenomenons that's shrouding this part of the galaxy.

I was basically in no man's land and the chances of anyone being here was zero to none, the rare few cases of accidental jump or secret bases by some nation, organization, or criminals appearing here rarely last long.

I was at the safest point of Dark Space or the Eye of the Storm as I would liked to call it, a few light-years away from me is where the real dangers are.

Dangers not a problem for me based on the data I had gathered, everything correlates to phenomenons long studied by the Progenitors and later Legion Commander in their war against the MLA.

Phenomenons that intrigued me due to the theoretical applications they have, so within a week after eliminating Pirates, I'd sent scout ships across Dark Space.

I understood why it's Dark because most of the systems around me are made up of dying stars or neutron stars that were barely capable of producing enough light to keep anything visible within a few AU(astronomical units).

Expanding my stronghold to twelve of the surrounding system was a wise move given I was able to project a vast Shroud-System that blanket my claimed systems to become invisible from the rest of the galaxy.

It also helped that those systems were on its last leg as one of its stars would've erupted into a supernova by a few years from now.

But with my quick reaction I had some Solar Harvesters crafted that extracted every ounce of energy from the star and contained them within some of my advance storage cores that uses folded space to stores a lot of mass and energy.

I created a false supernova which I had hoped is enough to fool the rest of the galaxy which I doubt would care if one of the stars in this corner dies.

I already claimed the planets and moons and made them invisible while leaving debris or shattered remains I fabricated to give the false supernova event more evidence to make it seem real.

Not that hard thanks to the wide array of tech application and knowledge that I possess.

Fleets were made and scattered across the dark corners of space hiding in and around the systems I had claimed as my own.

Worlds and moons were converted and leaving false evidences to keep the false act as truthful as possible.

The first week was expanding and making sure my cover I hidden and I've added hidden spycrafts and senor array across my territory and in-between the systems in Dark Space to expand my awareness and security.
