(Log 011)

So something interesting happened over the Corelia Sector as it was known to the wider galaxy but to me that holds some significant importance to my past before my death and new life as Legion Commander.

Humans had made contact with the rest of the galaxy from what my spies and connections have gathered.

The United Earth Federation or UEF was their name and it both intrigued and amused me, was wondering when they'd showed up.

Over nearly a century since I found myself in Stellaris and it took that long for humanity to make contact with the wider galaxy.

They were decent when it comes to their technology, likely rivaling the Yakurda Confederacy and Zalar Stellar Institute, those two interstellar nations were minor powers but on the middle level.

They were not that weak nor too strong, fairly balanced civilizations compared to the rest.

Humanity was on that line based on their technology, territory and population which as impressive after only having been a century since they've the reach space age.

They had a few hundred star systems and thousands of planets 2/3 of which are habitable or being terraformed to properly host new colonies and its burgeoning population.

But compared to other more older civilization despite being considered as minors? Humanity was at the low level compared to their territory.

It's their technology and population that makes up for their smaller territory, the Corelia Sector was the problem, being eyed by a few powers such as the Astran Imperial Federation, a imperialist civilization that is made up of ogre like people with red, blue or the rare purple skin color of their race.

They look human but the small tusks or horns on their forehead indicate their differences from humanity, that is not to mention their color and bulky physique, their female still held their feminine physique with a mix of athletic muscles and abs.

Not too much but just the right level that it's quite attractive by my human side, it's also one of the nation's that I had a high and stable position.

They're not that bad, having an honor code with a warrior-based society that isn't all about just strength, they include wisdom and talent to their meritocracy policies and culture aspect.

The real problem is their own splintered colonies that haf formed after the Second Rhusan-Astran War.

The Rhusan Directorate, a society made up of Squid people, a true alien specie that's none humanoid and held various sub-species of squid or octopus like appearance.

Had instigated a civil war against their rival causing 16% of the AIF to splinter off, the former forced to concede to the splintered faction because they needed to recover after their victory from the Rhusan Directorate.

It's only a decade and a half since they splintered and they called themselves the Akaiyn Shogunate which was cute.

They were the brutes and more cruel compared to their lighter counterparts, ruled by a brutal warlord that had proclaimed himself as the Shogun of the splintered territory.
