(3rd POV)It came without warning and without a chance for any gods to act when the skies blackened and blood rained down, embers shined across the blacked skies.
To the mortals it seemed to be the end of days as the skies blotted the sun and only darkness that remains above them.
Then a cacophony of thunderous roars echoed across the heavens above and golden specks began to fall from it.
These were the gods of the earth or at least those who still are alive and yet to meet their end.
*KA-BOOOMMMM*
Fleeing in terror as vast destruction was laid wasted across the once and mighty omnipotent city.
Now a charred rubles that now became a shadow of its former glory.
Ruins and scattered corpses laid across the floating city.
Chunks were torn apart and falling to the earth below, some splattering near the lands while most the ocean floor.
Truly it was a time of ending as mighty beasts of incomprehensible size began to descend upon the Earth.
The domains of the gods being breached as they are swept away by the chaos and madness around them.
"Aaaaahh! It h-had killed Anu!" The gods of Mesopotamia flee to their homes in the lands where their worshippers live.
Alas one of the beast followed them as the middle east is swept by a vast storm of sand and fire that swept every life it come across.
The humans were the fortunate one's as they were merely ignore by these world ending catastrophes.
The realm between mortals and gods being divided by the beasts that rapidly consumed all that is divine and unnatural.
Heralding the ending of an age and the coming of a new age, the time of gods is at its end and none could escape this fate brought upon them.
"N-No, stop! Damn you b-beast! I am a god you ca-*Splat*." No power stood against the beast that was bringing their end.
"Raaah! How d-dare you fiend! I'll avenge my-*KA-BOOOMMMM*." False bravado would not save the divine from their doom.
"S-Spare me! C-Could prove of u-hiiieee!" The 7 Beasts do not bargain nor compromise with their prey.
"Aaaaugh!" Only death and fulfillment of their maker's will that matters to them and thus did the gods knew their bane.
"Olympus is b-burning!" The abode of the gods of the west burned in untamed destruction that spared nothing in its wake.
Only ruin and death that lay scattered in their once mighty halls now reduced into shattered architectures bathed in fire.
So flee or fight, this was the options the gods only have, there was no other way other than either delaying or hastening the inevitable end of their age.
"Sister! Move we must return home and rally our forces if we wish to survive." Susanoo exclaimed as he held her sister who stared in a daze.
Clothes ruffled with a few charred parts that were mild and didn't ruined much of her appearance aside from being slightly disheveled by the 7 beasts attack moments ago.
"It's true... the warning, it was no lie this is really happening." Tsukuyomi muttered with face turning grim and pale at the realization.
Gods across the worlds were running or fighting a futile battle that only hastened their inevitable destruction.
