True to Kei's promise, Axel found himself being dragged along to enjoy their remaining days before entering the PSG. Now, they were standing in line at the movie theater, preparing to buy tickets for the latest horror-thriller that was released.

Kei asked about the genre of movies Axel preferred, to which Axel honestly admitted that it had been years since he'd last seen a movie due to his certain circumstances. Kaya naman kaagad ni Kei naisipan na dalhin si Axel sa sinehan at manuod.

Of course, siya ang pipili ng panunuorin nila, and he went for the horror-thriller just because.

Axel glanced at Kei, who was practically bouncing on his heels with uncontainable energy. Dressed in a vibrant hoodie emblazoned with a quirky horror movie reference, Kei was obviously so into it.

"I've heard it's supposed to be super creepy! I can't wait to see your reaction!" Kei exclaimed. Para sa tulad ni Axel na halos naka poker-face o di kaya nakabusangot lang araw-araw, gusto talaga ni Kei makita ang iba't ibang ekspresyon sa mukha nito.

He once saw him laugh and smile genuinely, so he's really curious for more.

"Yeah, creepy," Axel muttered, uninterested. "I'm sure it'll be... interesting."

Kei leaned closer, lowering his voice. "Just promise me you won't hide your face in my shoulder when it gets too scary!" He burst into laughter, earning a few curious glances from others in line.

Nanatiling walang emosyon ang mukha ni Axel. "Are you saying I would? Like some kind of a scaredy-cat?"

"Absolutely! I'm just saying, you might need a safe space." Kei winked, playfully nudging Axel.

"Oh shut up," Sita ni Axel dahil pinagtitinginan na sila ng mga tao.

Mabuti nalang tumigil na ito nang maabot nila ang bilihan ng ticket. Kei stepped forward, fetching money from his wallet after telling the clerk what movie they're here to see and payed for the ticket.

Now they're good to go.

"Okay, before we enter the cinema we should get something to eat." Sabi ni Kei at hinila siya papunta sa bilihan ng mga pagkain.

As they approached the counter, Kei leaned over, practically pressing his face against the display case. "Look at all this!" he marveled, gesturing wildly. "We should get a giant popcorn and split it! And those nachos! And maybe..."

"Okay, slow down," Axel interjected, softly pulling Kei away from the counter. "Umayos ka, hindi ka na bata. Hindi naman natin mauubos ang lahat ng 'yan. You should just get popcorn."

"But what about the gummy worms? Nachos?" Kei insisted, turning to Axel with wide, pleading eyes. "Please? They're a must-have."

Ayan nanaman si Kei sa pakapit-kapit sa braso nito na parang bata. He does this to Axel whenever he wants to have his way. At hindi rin alam ni Axel kung bakit palaging gumagana.

Axel rolled his eyes, fighting a losing battle against the warmth spreading through him. "Fine. Just enough for you to finish, but also not too much. Masyadong matamis 'yang gummies."

"Deal!" Kei replied with a triumphant cheer.

Kei happily placed their order and payed for everything.

Matapos nilang magbayad ay halos hindi na nila alam kung paano bitbitin ang lahat ng pinamili nila. Dalawang malaking bucket ng popcorn, isang supot ng gummy worms, dalawang tray ng nachos, dalawang coke in can, at dalawang bote ng tubig.
