The One I Love (Ciel Phantomhive x Reader)

The Ball

Ciel told You, Grace, Kaija, and Erin to stay put until he introduced you guys to all his guests as his personal guests.

"Ahem, may I have your attention?" Ciel confidentally says to his guests "I'd like to thank all of you for attending this ball. I would like to introduce you to my personal guests. They are visiting from out of the country and this is their first ball to ever attend. I present to you, Lady Kaija."

Ciel motions for Kaija to come out. Kaija comes out and smiles at the top of the stairs.

"Lady Erin." Ciel says.

Ciel motions for Erin to come out. Erin comes out and smiles brightly and waves as if she was the queen.

"Lady Grace." Ciel says.

He motions for Grace to come out. Grace comes out and happily waves.

"And last but not least, Lady (Y/n)." Ciel says.

Ciel motions for you to come out. You come out and at the top of the stairs you wave at the guests.

"I hope you all have a wonderful time." Ciel says.

Everybody claps then goes back to what they were doing. Ciel goes down the stairs and You, Grace, Erin, and Kaija go down after him. While you guys are going down the stairs Grace asks
"So what are we supposed to do at a ball?"
"Um, let's go over here and I'll tell you." You say as you lead them to a corner in the room.
"So at a ball you are supposed to socialize, eat, drink, and dance." You tell them.
"Really? That's all you do?" Erin asks.
"Yup." You say.
"Alright then. Let's go do those things!" Grace says.
"Uh, you guys can do that, I'll just stay here." You say because you don't really like talking to people - especially people you don't know who were alive in the late 1800s. You also say that because you can't ballroom dance, or any type of dance at all.
"Oh come on (Y/n), at least walk around with us." Kaija says.
"No, that's alright, I'm just gonna stay here. Go do your own things guys." You say.
"Okay then, see ya." Grace says.
"Come on guys let's go!" Erin excitedly shouts.

Grace, Erin, and Kaija all walk off disappearing into the crowd. You see Ciel walking towards you, but then the orchestra starts playing and people start finding partners to probably dance with. Ciel keeps walking towards you but then Elizabeth grabs his arm and says something to him. He says something back but then Elizabeth looks like she is begging him to do something. She grabs his hand and puts her other hand on his shoulder. Ciel sighs and puts his hand around her waist. Then they start dancing to the music. This makes you feel uncomfortable because Ciel obviously didn't want to dance but Elizabeth made him.

God Elizabeth. You brat. You can't have everything you want. You think to yourself.

While Ciel and Elizabeth are dancing Ciel keeps shooting glances at you. You pretend to not notice them and get up to go find your friends. You finally find your friends in a different corner eating a bunch of sweets.

"Hey (Y/n), you should stay here with us. They tray with super good candy and mini cakes comes by like every 5 minutes." Kaija says.
"Yeah, they're sooo good." Erin says.
"Well, all of them taste bad except for the white square candy and the white round cake." Grace says.
Hmm, the ones that Grace likes must have some sort of soul in them since she's a demon. You think to yourself.
"Really? I hate those." Erin says.
"Yeah me too." Kaija says.
"I will freaking kill you!" Grace shouts as her eyes turn a bright crimson color "I love them!" She says as she shoves another one into her mouth.
"Woah, Grace chill out, you're eyes are changing color again." Erin says.
"Oh? Really? Probably because I want to eat your soul!" Grace says.
"Grace, relax. It's fine." You say.

Grace's eyes turn back to their normal color. You and your friends stay in that corner for the rest of the night talking and eating sweets. Close to the end of the ball Ciel comes over to you guys.

"Hello Ladies are you having a good time?" Ciel asks.
"Yes." Erin says.
"The sweets are delicious." Grace says.
"They are." Kaija agrees
"Well, I'll tell Sebastian that his sweets are appreciated." Ciel says

The orchestra starts playing music. Ciel turns to you and asks

"It seems to be the last dance of the night. Would your care to dance Lady (Y/n)?"
"Uh, well, um," you stutter.
"Yes! Lady (Y/n) would love to dance the last dance with you." Grace says as she pushes you towards Ciel.
"Well then," Ciel says smiling "May I have this dance?" Ciel asks holding out his hand.
"Uh," You look back at your friends. They smile at you and give you a thumbs up. "Yes." You reply blushing.

Ciel holds your hand and firmly but gentlely wraps his arm around your waist. You blush and put your hand on his shoulder. You both start dancing to the rythm of the music. You are surprisingly dancing pretty well. You look into Ciel's eyes - well, eye -, big mistake. You get lost in his eye, which is a beautiful blue color that really suits him. All of a sudden, the music stops which breaks you out of your trance.

"(Y/n)" Ciel says.
"Uh, yes?" You say.
"Follow me, I would like to show you something." He says.
"Okay." You say wondering what it is.

Ciel starts walking out of the room and you follow him.
