The Queen's Letter

You and your friends enter your room. Grace collapses onto her bed.

"I can't take it anymore! I can't be lady-like!" Grace yells.
"Well I like being lady-like. You get to wear dresses and look pretty." Erin says.
"Meh, it has its pros and cons." Kaija says as she sits down on her bed.
"I really have no opinion on it because we're in my favorite show." You say.

Then there's a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Erin says.

Mey-rin enters the room with your guys's sleepwear. She passes it out to each of you then says

"The young master would like to speak with Lady (Y/n) in his office, yes." She says. Then she leaves the room.
"Ooo, Ciel wants to talk to (Y/n)." Grace says in a mockingly way.
"Yeah, I wonder what they're gonna talk about." Erin mockingly says.
"Shut up guys." You say.

You put your sleepwear on your bed and leave the room to go to Ciel's office. You easily navigate through the Phantomhive manor to Ciel's office. When you get there, you knock on the door.

"Come in." You hear Ciel say.

You open the door and walk in closing the door behind you.

"Um, you wanted to speak to me Ciel." You say.
"Yes." Ciel says as he motions for you to come over.

You go over to the front of Ciel's desk and sit down. Ciel puts his elbows on the desk and folds together his hands.

"I saw that Lady Grace and Lady Kaija had wings and that they could fly. Would you care to explain that?" Ciel says.
"Oh, uh, that. . . Well, Lady Grace is a bat demon and Lady Kaija is an angel which is why they can fly." You explain.
"But, how are they with you? Are you in a contract of some sort?" Ciel asks.
"Um, no. We um, before they were an angel and a demon we were really close friends. So they chose to stick with me and Lady Erin." You say.
"Hm, I never thought that a demon or an angel would stay for, friendship."Ciel says.
"Yeah. . ." You say.
"Well, that is one reason I called you here. The other reason is this." Ciel says as he takes out an envelope and pushes it towards you.
"What's this?" You ask.
"It's a letter from the queen." Ciel says.
"Why are you giving it to me?" You say.
"Because I would like you to read it, then share it with your friends." Ciel says.
"Okay." You say.

You take the envelope and open it then you take the letter out. You unfold the letter and read it.

Dear Lord Phantomhive,
I have fallen very ill, this is not like any other illness. There seems to not be a cure, so I will pass away soon. If I pass away there must be a new ruler. Since I have no close relatives my researchers have done some looking to find the closest one.
We have found her and her name is Lady Erin Ellis Grumride. She is
my cousin's niece and she is my closest living relative, so if I am to passaway, she will be the new ruler. I am led to believe that she is in the care of you, along with Lady (Y/n), Lady Grace, and Lady Kaija. I would like you to tell her these things and help her prepare for becoming queen.

When you finish reading you put the letter down to process things in your mind. You put the letter back in its envelope and tuck it away so you can show it to your friends when you go back to your room.

"So, the queen is sick and she wants Lady Erin to become queen when she passes away?" You ask Ciel just to make sure.
"That is correct." Ciel says.
"I will go tell them the news." You say.
"Yes. Let me escort you to your room." Ciel says.
"Okay." You say.

You and Ciel get up from your seats and walk to the door. He opens the door for you. You bow your head a little in thanks. You and Ciel walk to your room in silence. When you reach the door outside of your room Ciel stops and turns to look at you. You turn to look at him to see what he wants. He takes your hand in his and says

"Goodnight (Y/n), sweet dreams."

Then he place a gentle kiss on your cheek, let's go of your hands and walks away back to his room. You feel your face getting hot and hope that your friends won't say anything about it. You open the door to your room and see your friends talking to each other on their beds. They hear the door open and see who it is.

"Hey look! It's (Y/n)!" Kaija says.
"Hey (Y/n)!" Erin says.
"So, what did Ciel need to talk about with you?" Grace mockingly says with a devious smirk on her face.
"Not what your thinking." You say.
"Well then what did you guys talk about?" Kaija asks.
"He wanted to know why you guys had wings and because of this." You say as you put the envelope on the desk in your room.
"What's that?" Erin asks.
"A letter from the queen." You reply.
"Wait, what?!" Grace, Erin, and Kaija exclaim at the same time.

They all go over to look at it.

"Is it really from the queen?!" Erin asks.
"Yup." You say.
"Can we read it?" Grace asks.
"Yup." You say.
"Really?" Kaija asks.
"Yup." You say.
"Yup." Grace mocks.
"Shut up Grace." You say.

Grace just laughs. Your friends open the envelope and unfold the letter to read it. While they read the letter, you change into your nightgown.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. So Egg's gonna become the new queen!?!" Grace asks.
"Yup." You reply.
"Wow Egg, congratulations!" Kaija says.
"I'm. . . gonna . . . be. . . QUEEN!?!" Erin says.
"Yup." You say.
"I'm gonna be the Queen! I'm gonna be the Queen! I'm gonna be the Queen!" Erin sings.
"Yes Egg." Grace says.
"Guys its really late, we should probably go to sleep." You say.
"Yeah." Kaija agrees.
"K guys, Night." Grace says.
"Goodnight!" Erin says.
"Night." You say.
"See ya in the morning." Kaija says.

You guys blow out the lights and and you go to sleep.
