The Secret of the Maze

You, Grace, Erin, and Kaija all approach the entrence of the maze.

"Okay, we're going to legit do the maze." Grace says.
"Yup, Which means no cheating." You say.
"That means no flying Grace." Erin says.
"Yeah, don't worry I won't fly." Grace says.
"Hey, let's stick together." Kaija says.
"Good idea." You say.
"Alright" Grace says. "Let's go!"

You, Grace, Erin, and Kaija all walk into the maze with no map and no sense of direction. You guys take lefts and rights, approach dead ends, and backtrack. You guys have been walking around the maze for 15 minutes and still have not reached the center.

"Ugh, we've been walking forever!" You complain.
"We've only been walking for like 15 minutes." Kaija states.
"But it feels like forever! We've been walking in circles and everything looks the same!" You exclaim.
"I feel like this has happened before. . ." Erin says.
"Yeah me too. . ." Kaija adds.
"Woah man, total de'ja vu moment." Grace says.
"Now that I think about it, it does feel like it's happend before. . ." You say.
"Eh, probably not." Grace says.
"Yeah." Kaija agrees.
"Well, let's get back to the maze." You say.
"Yep." Erin says.

After 10 more minutes of wandering around in the maze you guys finally get to the center.

"Yes! Finally!" Grace says.
"I know right! Oh my gosh it was so long, and everything looked the same." You agree.
"We made it! I feel successful!" Erin says.
"Yes." Kaija agrees.

You guys look around the center of the maze for a little bit. In the middle there's a white gazeebo and on the floor in the center of it is a circular design (in the pic above). In the middle of the circular pattern is a smaller circle with 4 holes on the line which could connect and become a square.

"This is a really cool floor pattern." Grace says.
"Yeah, I wonder what these holes are for though." You say.
"They look like they're supposed to have the orbs in them." Kaija says.
"Oh yeah." Erin agrees.
"Hey I think the orbs are supposed to be in the holes." Grace says as she drops her orb into the hole.
"Hm, yeah looks like it." You say droping your orb into a different hole.
"Oh yeah, it does fit!" Kaija says when her orb perfectly falls into her hole.
"I guess your right." Erin says as she puts her orb into the remaining hole.

All four orbs are in a hole. They stick out half way but are snug and perfectly fit into the hole. Then all of a sudden, the ground with the pattern on it starts to move! The circles shift around, and the circle that the orbs form expands. The circles shift back and forth and soon, there's a giant hole in the middle of the circle pattern. The hole is a spiral staircase that goes down into the ground and leads to who knows where.

"Woah. . ." You say.
"What. . ." Kaija says.
"Where. . ." Erin says.
"How. . ." Grace says.
"Okay, so what just happened?" Kaija asks.
"We dropped our orbs into the holes and the floor patterned revealed a secret stairway." Grace answers.
"Uh, Erin are you okay?" Kaija says to Erin.

Erin is standing still with her arms limp at her sides and her eyes blankly staring at the hole in the ground.

"She's fine, she's just processing things," You explain.
"Oh okay," Kaija says.

You guys wait just a little bit until Erin has recovered from what just happened.

"You all better now Egg?" Grace asks.
"Yup." Erin replies sounding -and looking- back to normal.
"Okay, so should we try to find out what this is?" Kaija says referring to the staircase leading into the ground.
"It's a staircase," Grace answers.
"Well I know that," Kaija says."I mean what's down there?"
"I don't know, let's find out," Grace says.
"So how are we gonna do that?" You ask.
"By going down of course!" Erin chimes in.
"Duh," Grace adds.
"But what if something dangerous is down there?" You ask.
"Yeah," Kaija says.
"Hey, if Erin says to do it. Do it." Erin says.
"My new senior quote," Grace says to Erin.
"Okay so what are we gonna do?" Kaija asks.
"We're gonna go down!" Grace replies heading down the stairs.
"Wait, but what if-" You start.
"Yep, come on, let's go!" Erin says following Grace.
"But. . ." You say.
"They're already going down and there's no stopping them. Let's just go with it," Kaija says.
"Okay," You say.

You and Kaija head down the stairs and catch up to Grace and Erin. The stairs seem to be made of marble and at the top were a dull white color, but as you go deeper the white seems to become more pure and shiny. With every step you take, the white appears to glow with a faint green color, like your orb. But the deeper down you go, the stronger and clearer the color gets. This happens to Grace, Erin, and Kaija too, except with their orb color, blue, pink, and purple. It's also what happens when your guy's hand touches the smooth, thin, white marble hand railing. The walls of the staircase going down are beautifully painted with designs of fairies that seem to tell a story.

"Woah, this is so cool." You say.
"I know. . ." Kaija says as she looks around.
"Who ever painted this is a really good artist." Grace states.
"Yup, totally not me." Erin says.

As you go deeper though, the walls with paintings slowly turn into walls of dirt.

The staircase doesn't go down too deep, just a 1 minute walk to the bottom from the top. You,Grace, Erin, and Kaija get to the bottom and look around, it's a beautiful, underground, area.The area is about the size of a soccer field. The bottom of the staircase is at one end of the underground area, well, it seems more like a garden than just an area.

Along the walls are vines with a variety of flowers growing on them. There are so many vines that you can barely see the dirt wall behind them. There are lots of plants everywhere, the flowers give off a sweet smell and the plants are all healthy, glimmery, and seem to give off a magical feel -well, actually everything seems to give a magical feel.

There are tiny little houses and buildings that are about a foot tall with small dirt and stone roads connecting everything. The buildings are built in a way that works with the plants around them; some of them are even part or entirely made of plants. For instance, the tree that was all the way on the opposite side of the staircase. It was like a great, big, magical, grandfather tree, except it was a third of the size of a normal tree. The miniature tree that was on the opposite side from the staircase looked to be a castle of some sort. The whole garden is lit up with flames of light that just float about so that it is not dark. (In the pic above).

There are balls of light that are going into houses, walking, flying, and doing things that a human would do. Kind of like fireflies.

Right where the staircase touches the ground, is a dirt and stone road that goes for about 7 feet until turning into a small road into the tiny village. You all stand shoulder to shoulder on the road. You and Kaija are on the ends, so half of you and Kaija are off of the path.

"Woah," You guys all say at the same time.
"It's like a tiny secret enchanted kingdom," You say.
"I know," Kaija says in awe.
"It's so pretty!" Erin exclaims.
"Hey Erin, what if you were the queen of this place?"Grace asks Erin.
"Woah, that be so cool to rule this place." You say.

Erin gasps and her eyes widen in response to Grace's question.

Then, 5 of the balls of light come close to you guys.

"Hey guys do you see those lights?" Grace asks.
"Yeah," You say as if something strange is happening.
"They're coming towards us," Kaija says.
"Why?" Erin questions.
"I don't know, don't ask me," Kaija says as she shrugs.

The 5 balls of light come closer and you can see that they aren't just balls of light; They're tiny people, tiny 2-inch-tall glowing flying winged people. Kind of like fairies.

"Woah, are those fairies?" Grace asks aloud.
"Maybe, probably," You respond.

Just then, the 5 fairies sort-of do a quick spin, and when they do that, they each grow to be regular human sized. The one on the far left is a girl who is the shortest of them all and has red hair parted in the middle that goes down to her shoulders with green eyes. The second one to the left is a boy who is the middle tallest and has blonde hair that is cut straight across his forehead with blue eyes. The one in the middle is the second-to-last shortest who is a little taller than you. He's a boy with white hair that is parted over each eye leaving a section of hair in the middle to create a 'M' shape, he also has red eyes. The one to the right is a guy who's the tallest with short wavy brown hair and brown eyes. The one to the far right is another guy -you think- with long black hair parted over his left eye that goes down to the bottom of his back with really dark grey eyes.

They each look at You, Grace, Erin, and Kaija. Then, the one in the middle with white hair steps forward and smiles.

"Greetings my ladies, and welcome, to Pisktera!" He proudly says.
