He is the son of modern day Portugal (Rómulo Valério Fontaine, his father) and Brazilian Empire (his mother), and the grandson of Portuguese Empire (Luan Gabriel Fontaine, Rómulo's father).
Since his surname was Fontaine, making him a descendant of the Roman Empire through the Iberian branch of House of Fontaine.
He also kinda ended up in a love triangle with Argentina and Chile considering they were rivals despite both of their fathers being close friends until their older brothers ruined it.

Portuguese and Spanish naming customs are confusing 😭
Btw they are quite older than their independence day which will not make sense if they were born on independence day. So I find their first or second leaders' (in Brazil's case, first child) birth year and made that as the country's official human birth.
Although the Western world and sometimes Eastern Europe had clear birth years, most in Asian, Oceanian (excluding Aussie🇦🇺 and Kiwi 🇳🇿), and African countries are unclear when their human birth is or how long they existed so it's difficult for me to put their age specifically to know how old are they. (In this case, the ASEAN gang doesn't have a specified age but we do know is that they're older than their colonizers.)
Until I did more research, then I will put their birth year to actually know how old are they.
