It was getting colder. The crystal beneath my feet continued onward into the distance. Unending and a sign of further torment. The shimmering light of my skin created odd colors out of the varying crystal of the floor. Yet it didn't help with the cold. I was growing tired. Dragging my feet forward, one after the other. It was getting harder to pick up my feet each time I placed them down, the cold made my skin stick to the surface of the floor.

My hair was lying in front of my eyes at this point. I didn't know how long I'd been walking. Nor how long since Silver had left the 'here'. All I knew was that I was searching. Searching for what, that was a question I would like answered.

At first I'd thought about making my way back to where the great mirror had been before I'd discovered my bonds were missing. Yet I'd been walking in that direction longer than I'd walked away from it. I knew that much about time to tell. I wondered if my hypothesis would actually work about being able to communicate with Silver outside of the 'here' using the unique magic.

The idea was that since he could travel through the dreams and he was technically asleep he should be able to control it to a certain degree if he knew the exact location or that he'd been there before. Plus things I'd dragged him in here, saving him from the overwhelming amount of blot trying to consume him, the two of us would be able to do it again to a degree. Like when I'd sensed him when his emotions were super strong, I should be able to do so again if I tried. Yet he would have to be the first to make a step.

So, I wandered.

I shivered, clutching my arms in a futile attempt to warm myself. The farther I stayed here the colder it got. I'd noticed the temperature change before I'd started walking. So it wasn't due to the movement in a direction. My thoughts were becoming more sluggish than before. As if I was freezing over.

Yet I continued forward.

I knew that I had to.

On a sparse occasion a vision would come to me. Silver's companions movement through the dreamscape, trying to awaken others from the slumber imposed by Malleus Draconia's overblot. I did worry if we'd be able to overcome this. Yet I was also reminded that I'd seen a vision, one which he wasn't overblotted, yet there was something even more terrifying on the horizon. What we'd been fighting. What had caused him to roar in cold fury.

Infact, the reminder of these events made me stricken with cold far more than the rapidly changing temperature of the surroundings.

I sincerely hoped we all made it out alive.

"We have to make it through this. I will not let it happen again."

My voice was loud in the silence. Echoing around me, yet it bounced off of nothing. There were no walls for the sound to reverberate off of. It was eerie, the slapping of feet against the floor, the way it spiked my adrenaline. My eyes were trying to scan for anything, yet not seeing anything. It was nerve wracking. My breath comes shallow and with little puffs of heat. The robs I'd worn to the ritual doing almost nothing for the cold.
