My computer has been having trouble lately, sorry for the slow in chapters. I'll try to get another chapter out before the end of April.
Here is a summary of what has happened so far in the fic:
Prologue: intro to Kai and his father. Mention of Kai's twin and mother.
Chapter 1: introduction of characters: Dixion, Lydle, Noah(non important really), Malleus, Jade, Lilia, Rook, Viridis and the ruin professor. Kai is in the mountain lovers club.
Chapter 2: an interlude chapter, how Kai's UM works.
Chapter 3: (I can't remember the entire thing) More on Kai's UM and dorm relations. His internal thoughts on matters. Effects how he will deal with the overblot plots.
Chapter 4: Kai talks about fae and how magic works(my world). We see his UM slowly starting to affect Kai's mentality. Character introduction: Arlan (important character).
Chapter 5: Arlan interactions with Kai and Dixion. Introduction to Kai's new lab partner after Lydle was partnered with Malleus because of sign language, Sebek's older brother(minor character will come up a few more times in the fic).
Chapter 6: Magic Shift spell drive tournament. Interactions between Kai and Arlan. Kai is becoming mentally exhausted with everything around him.
Chapter 7: winter break, smth is wrong with Lydle. More ruin's class. A new side to Arlan, protective and a bit creepy. Kai's UM is taking a noticeable tole— won't be solved anytime soon. I'm lazy.
Chapter 8: Pomefiore squad gets more time together. Their relations to each other cementing. Vil is a queen.
Chapter 9: summer break, vil and Kai model. Vil becomes dorm leader. Rook is a drama seeker. Arlan is his enabler.
Chapter 10: the game begins! EPEL is introduced. Kai doesn't go to the mirror ceremony along with any others minus dorm leader and vice.
