How can you tell someone something,
When you are terrified of the result,
Because you already have an idea of the outcome,
It could only end in disaster,
A nightmare come true,
Bringing tears and awkwardness,
Causing more distress than before,
And you know this is true from prior mistakes,
When what's the worse that can happen,
Doesn't seem so bad,
But in reality it feels a thousand times worse,
And what you thought wouldn't cost a thing,
Costs you a friendship,
But what hurts more,
Losing a friend,
Knowing they don't feel the same,
Or that they would let this ruin a friendship,
So how can you have the courage,
The courage to tell someone something,
