I now know why I can't forget
I realize why my heart neglects to move on
I can see why
It seems as though it was always so clear
You were my first kiss
And my first love
Despite all the ups and downs
I could never hate you
Every time I see you I can't help but smile
You let me confide in you when I'm feeling down
You give me advice
And when I'm ready to give up on life
You give me courage
You give me strength
You give me confidence
And you believe in me
This is why my heart won't let me move on
And why you mean so much to me
I wonder if you realize how much you mean to me
