Why tell me a lie
To make me believe it for awhile
Then make me realize later that it was never true
But you don't just make me realize it was never true
You make me feel worse then before
You make me really want to this time
Cause now I know you aren't really there
And because of this I want to make that bluff a reality
And you are too oblivious to see
You thought that was a hickey
But you never stopped to think
How could that be
If she hadn't left the house in weeks
Never even took note of the dark bruises on my leg
Or how I just sat and endured the painful bites and scratches
Which left marks and bruises all over
Never thought about how the words you keep engraving into me would affect me
But by the way it looks you will find out soon enough
Then you'll wonder why i made that bluff a reality
You'll search for an answer
But you'll never realize that it's everything you did to me
