The two and a half weeks has been strange, to say the least. I can't stop thinking about the sensation I felt when Lola was with me two weeks ago.
It was odd.
I've done a few things since then anyway. I got a hold of myself and decided I'd use the therapist Nikita suggested, just so I can get all this shit off my chest and stop carrying it around because after all...this is my new normal.
I've gone twice this week and settled for going twice a week, it's helped a lot and it takes my mind off it all so much. The therapist has been more helpful than all three of the constant people in my life so far.
I've gone to work every day like normal and the job is actually really good, the breaks are nice and despite Emilia's crude attitude everyone else is lovely. Talia and I spend a lot of time together on our breaks and all.
She is friendly and helps me where I need it.
Today's already been a long day though, it's a Wednesday and we've got our meeting later in the afternoon since in the morning Emilia was busy with her parents.
At least that's what Talia told me.
Come to think of it, Talia has given me more insight than I ever needed. She's told me about how Emilia doesn't look like it but she's got a really loving family, she and her mother act the same apparently.
She can be a stuck-up bitch most of the time but she's got a heart, she just never really shows it.
I came to the conclusion that if Emilia and her mother act the same, I'd understand where she got the bitchy attitude from.
"Today has been a slow day," Talia said as she relaxed back in her chair opposite my desk.
"It really has been a slow day," I said. "I just wonder why Emilia said the meeting was later rather than earlier."
"I don't know either but it's like Emilia to do her own thing." She shrugged.
I went to speak but Emilia walked into my office and spoke. "My office." She said harshly and walked away.
A million things ran through my head within to space of a few seconds. What the hell could I have done? Could it be because of Lola? And how would she know? I've barely seen Lola this week.
As far as I'm concerned all my work has been good and up to standard. She told me herself a few days ago so what the hell could be happening now?
"I'm sure it's nothing Nov, Emy can be dramatic at times," Talia said as she sensed my nerves a little.
"I hope you're right Talia," I said as I stood up and smoothed my dress down.
I took a deep breath and walked to her office. I knocked on the door three times before she let me in. Her black hair was pinned back in a low ponytail and she wore a black suit which brought out her eyes even more. With a pair of YSL heels on her feet.
