They say love can blind you. [Y/N] never understood the phrase fully—until she fell for Stu Macher. The tall goofball had managed to steal her rock solid heart. Years of building up walls but only he had managed to break them down.

Her heart fluttered every time he threw an arm around her shoulders in that lazy, almost possessive way of his, his wide, goofy grin making her laugh even on her worst days.

She loved the way he would tuck her hair behind her ear, his thumb grazing her cheek, whispering little nothings that made her feel like the only girl in the world.

In a town as small as Woodsboro, where everyone knew everyone's business, their relationship felt like a private escape.

Stu sat on the soft bed, his crystal blue eyes intently studying the way his [Y/N] skimmed through her book, sprawled flat on her stomach with her back against him.

The room was dimly lit, illuminated only by the soft glow of a lamp in the corner, casting a warm ambiance that wrapped around them like a cozy blanket.

He fiddled with the cassette tape in his hand, the glossy surface reflecting the light as he rewound it, anticipation bubbling inside him.

After a few clicks and the soft whirring sound of the cassette player, the familiar tune began to fill the space, enveloping them in a world of melody and nostalgia.

Stu grinned, his excitement evident. "Hey, babe! Isn't this our theme song?" he called out, moving to poke her side.

The playful jab earned him only a soft hum from the girl, her attention still absorbed in the pages of her book.

He pouted, almost childishly, at her apparent ignorance of his theatrics. As the singer's voice filled the air, the song rolling on, he couldn't help but join in.

"Oh, my chérie amour~," he sang, letting the melody spill from his lips, his voice warm and inviting. The sound echoed in the small room, and [Y/N] turned her head toward him, an inquisitive brow raised.

Stu wasn't a bad singer, per se, but [Y/N] often teased him, claiming he should have joined the school choir instead of sticking to athletics.

"What the hell are you doing, Stuart?" she asked, biting her lip to stifle a growing grin, her eyes sparkling with amusement at his usual antics.

"Pretty lil' one, that I adoreee~," he continued, ignoring her question, one hand theatrically placed on his chest while the other pretended to hold a microphone, channeling his inner rock star.

This elicited a soft giggle from [Y/N], who now fully turned to witness the mini concert her boyfriend was putting on just for her.

"Stuart Macher, I can't read with your loud ass—"

"Shhhh, just enjoy the show, babe," he interjected with a cheeky wink, a gesture that elicited an eye roll from her. Both knew she enjoyed this as much as he did.
