PROMPT: Stu is your brother.

The night air hung with an unusual chill, slicing through Woodsboro's typically tranquil atmosphere. A full moon loomed overhead, illuminating the scene with a ghostly glow.

[Y/N] leaned against the doorframe, her arms crossed tightly, scowling at the sight of Billy Loomis sprawled on her couch as if he owned the place.

"Is there a reason you're still here, Loomis?" she snapped, an eyebrow arched in annoyance. "Last I checked, you weren't exactly invited."

Billy flashed her a cocky smirk, reclining back and exuding a confidence that only served to deepen her irritation. "Stu invited me," he replied smoothly, his voice dripping with arrogance. "Last I checked, this was his house too."

Her eye twitched in response. She and Billy had always shared this... dynamic.

A push-and-pull that began in childhood, escalated through the tumult of high school, and, if she were being honest, was fueled by an annoyingly intense attraction she refused to acknowledge.

Mostly because he was obnoxious, full of himself, and had perfected the art of getting under her skin.

"Oh, come on, sis! Give him a break." Stu sauntered into the room, grinning as though he was blissfully unaware of the daggers [Y/N] was shooting at his best friend. "Billy's practically family!"

"I'd rather invite a snake into my house," [Y/N] muttered, rolling her eyes as she glared at Billy, who seemed to thrive on her irritation.

"Oh, please." Billy leaned forward, a wicked grin spreading across his face, the kind that set her nerves on edge and sent a shiver down her spine. "You wouldn't last a second without me here to keep things interesting."

"Interesting? Is that what you call constantly irritating me?" she shot back, narrowing her eyes. "Don't flatter yourself, Loomis. I can handle boring just fine."

Stu cackled, throwing himself onto the couch between them as if he were a referee in this ridiculous contest. "You two should just kiss and get it over with," he teased, waggling his eyebrows with a laugh.

"Are you insane?" [Y/N] and Billy shouted in unison, their expressions a mix of horror and disgust.

As if summoned by their outburst, Randy, Tatum, and Sidney walked in, carrying snacks and eying the scene with amused, knowing smiles. Randy nudged Tatum with a grin. "Ten bucks says they end up together by the end of the night."

Tatum snorted, shaking her head. "That's a sucker's bet. [Y/N] would rather eat glass."

Sidney set the snacks down on the coffee table with a gentle smile. "[Y/N], you don't actually hate Billy, right?" Her voice was soft, cautious, the way it always was when she tried to make sense of the chaotic energy between the two of them.

"He's... annoying," [Y/N] replied defiantly, lifting her chin as if that would somehow settle the matter.

"Annoying? Me?" Billy feigned offense, placing a hand over his heart in mock pain. "I'm just trying to enjoy my evening here, and you're slinging insults. How very mature of you, [Y/N]."

"Both of you knock it off," Tatum interjected, plopping down beside [Y/N] and tossing a piece of popcorn at Billy. "Or go find a room already."

"Ha!" [Y/N] scoffed, shaking her head vehemently. "The day I willingly go anywhere alone with Billy Loomis is the day pigs fly."

"Good thing I'm not offering," Billy shot back, crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes at her in a way that made her stomach flip.

This ridiculous back-and-forth was routine, something they had all come to expect. But tonight felt different. An undercurrent of tension crackled in the air, drawing everyone's attention like a moth to a flame.
