PROMPT: Typical day with Billy.

The chill of autumn had settled over Woodsboro, casting an orange glow over the streets and painting the trees in shades of gold, red, and amber.
[Y/N] loved this season—the crispness of the air, the crackling sound of leaves beneath her boots, the way the days shortened just enough to make every sunset a spectacle.
She had spent the afternoon preparing her living room for tonight, folding extra blankets, setting out candles to add warmth, and popping popcorn.
She liked things cozy, and Billy Loomis—who preferred darkness and thrillers—would probably poke fun at it.
But he was coming over, which meant he agreed to her "movie night" idea in the first place, which was rare. Just the thought made her stomach twist in that annoyingly giddy way, and she found herself glancing out the front window, searching for his silhouette against the dusky evening light.
Finally, she saw him, strolling down her driveway with his usual air of casual indifference. He wore his leather jacket over a gray hoodie, his dark hair messy in the way that looked good without trying.
She could spot the faint smirk on his face as he waved, holding up a couple of DVDs in his other hand.
"Alright," he called when he was close enough to be heard, "I've got two choices for you: horror, or... horror."
[Y/N] shook her head, trying not to smile too obviously. "Why am I not surprised?" She crossed her arms, standing in the doorway to feign indifference. "Fine. But since you're picking the movie, I'm picking the snacks."
He grinned, brushing past her into the house. "Fair enough. Guess that means we're having popcorn and... whatever these are." He held up a pack of her favorite candies, a surprisingly thoughtful gesture.
With a laugh, she led him into the living room. He looked around, taking in the warm glow of candles, the extra pillows and blankets strewn across the couch, and the snacks she had prepared.
For a second, she thought she saw his usual smirk soften into something more genuine.
"Didn't peg you as the 'cozy night in' type," he said, plopping onto the couch and glancing at her with a playful glint in his eye. "But I kinda like it."
"Didn't peg you as the type to show up for a cozy night in," she shot back, but there was no bite in her tone. She sank into the seat beside him, feeling her heart race as their knees brushed for just a second.
Billy shrugged, leaning back and making himself comfortable. "Maybe you're just good company."
Her cheeks warmed, and she quickly looked away, feigning interest in the DVD cases. But he noticed. She could feel his eyes on her, studying her reaction with that subtle intensity that Billy carried wherever he went.
As they settled under the blankets, the movie began, throwing flickering light over the room.
It was a classic horror, one she had seen before but didn't particularly remember, thanks to the constant anticipation that buzzed through her each time Billy shifted beside her.
