Lucy sighed heavily "damn sure, people around you two must be feeling very lonely. Stop with your lovey-dovey things."

Lyala chuckles, As she continues to eat, he keeps one hand on her thigh, gently squeezing and caressing. His touch is gentle, almost distracting, making it hard for her to focus on her food. "Butterfly... He murred softly.

Ignoring him, "how is Luna tho?" she asked. He sighs dramatically, removing his hands from her thighs. "Fine, fine... If you're not interested in little talk, then let's talk about Luna..." He rolls his eyes, but his smile is soft. "She's doing great."

"is she missing me?" His expression turns gentle, and he reaches out to gently stroke her hair. "She misses you terribly, sweetheart every day. She even drew a picture for you." He pulls out his phone, showing her a picture of Luna's drawing.

"That's cute." Lyala smiled looking at the picture. "Let me see too." Lucy snatched the phone from him. He sighs, controlling himself not to smash Lucy's head on the table.

"Bring her home...today" She said
He smiles at her, his eyes soft. "I was planning on it... She's been asking to see her mommy all week. I thought it would be a nice surprise..." He leans over, kissing her softly.

"so how was your days with her?" She again asked He grins. "Let's just say, she is super active, playing, dancing, singing around the whole mansion with Lisa. They both gave a hard time to Emilia.

He chuckles, rubbing his back exaggeratedly. "We went to the park, she rode her pony, we had a tea party with her stuffed animals..."

"You're lucky, she showed you her stuffed animals. For us we were not even allowed to touch." Lucy sighed.

He smirks. "Well, she is my princess." A proud look can be seen in his face. Turning his attention to Lyala, he smiled, "And she asked me a million questions about you... 'Where's mommy? Does she miss me too?'" His expression softens.

He pulls her close, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I told her that you miss her very much, and that you can't wait to see her again... She said she wants to give you a big hug and a kiss..." He nuzzles her neck, his voice muffled.

"She is missing you too." Rolling his eyes he looks at Lucy. "Bring her home fast." Lucy said getting up from the chair, putting her plate inside the basin "Lyala, wanna join me to the grocery store?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest.

"No. she does not want. She will spend her time with me." Xavier answer pulling the chair closer to him.

"Ah..you people are so annoying." Lucy turned around, after washing the dishes, she left to the grocery store.

While they're talking, his phone buzzes...but he ignores it...getting irritated by the continuous buzzing, Lyala yell

"Your phone has been buzzing since 10 minutes...pick it.." She said picking up the plates from the table.

Xavier's eyes narrow at the mention of his phone. He pulls it closer, and glances at the screen. His face darkens as he reads the messages. "Looks like someone's been trying to reach me," he growls, his grip on your hips tightening.

"What happened..?" Lyala asks looking at his serious expression...

He releases her suddenly, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "I have to leave tonight, for a mission. But don't worry, I'll have men watching the house." His eyes meet her, the unspoken words hanging heavy between her. This life he leads, it's dangerous.

Looking at her worried face, he sighs.
"Don't worry." He forced a smile, pulling her into his arms. "We still have times, I'll leave at night..for now, let's enjoy." She denied, holding him closer.

"I'll be fine butterfly, don't worry." He nuzzles into her neck, gently caressing her back. She simply hummed.

Later that day at night.
Fully dressed now, he takes a long look at her sleeping form, a soft smile playing on his lips. He walks over to the bassinet, gazing down, "I'll be back soon," he murmurs, more to himself than to the infant.

With one last glance at her Xavier leaves the room, closing the door softly behind him. He descends the staircase, his footsteps echoing through the silent apartment as he makes his way to the awaiting SUV outside. The driver nods at him respectfully as he climbs into the backseat.

As the vehicle pulls away from the curb, Xavier checks his weapon, his expression serious. He turns to Ace in the front passenger seat. "Any updates on the target?" he asks crisply. The man consults a tablet, flicking through screens filled with maps and surveillance images.

"The target is at the docks, overseeing the loading of the shipment personally," he reports. "Our informant says he's travelling with a dozen of his closest men. No unexpected reinforcements." Xavier nods curtly, his mind racing with strategies and contingencies. "Good."

The SUV speeds through the city streets, weaving through traffic with precision. Xavier's thoughts remain with the task at hand, but a part of his mind drifts back to her, wondering what the day will bring when he returns. He pushes the thoughts aside, focusing on the task ahead.

As the vehicle approaches the docks, xavier straightens his tie and adjusts his suit jacket. He checks his watch - 2:47 AM. The perfect time for a surprise visit. "Remember, gentlemen," he says to his men, "clean and quick. No unnecessary casualties."

The SUV rolls to a stop near the docks. Xavier steps out, his polished shoes clicking against the pavement. He surveys the area - a few guards patrolling, the target's men loading crates onto a ship. With a subtle nod, his team fans out, moving silently into position.

Xavier himself approaches the main warehouse, his strides confident. As he reaches the door, he draws his weapon, a sleek, deadly automatic. Kicking the door open, he steps inside. The target, a portly man with beady eyes, looks up from his desk, his face draining of color.
