While walking, suddenly a lightning struck. Without thinking twice i sat in the ground covering my ears. I really hate lightning. I start panic. "LYALA" I heard someone is calling my name. Its just my hallucinations why someone is calling my name in the middle of jungle. Maybe he is here to kill me. I got more scared, my body starts getting cold. I feel someone's hand in my shoulder "Lyala" I turn around and saw a familiar face. Xavier he is here, without thinking twice I hugged him and starts crying louder.
After sometime i calm down I-- my voice is not coming out. I started panic what if I get mute my whole life tears again starts forming. "Hey calm down Lyala. Everything is will fine, relax." He said calming me "i-i--ca-n't--eve--n." He shut me down and said " don't force yourself it will get worse,you get wet for straight 1 hours that's why. It will be fine. Let's head back there. If you want I'll drop you at your house. You want to go home?" He asked I nodded "b--ut my st--uf-fs." I asked "don't worry about it"
Then suddenly a lightning strike I flinched and without thinking twice I jumped upon him and hugged him tightly and snuggle in his neck. He gasped by my actions but ultimately hug me. I moved back. He removed the strains of hair and caressed my face. His face is shining even in this kind of weather. I deeply stare him. My eyes never left his face. He is really beautiful, I had never noticed that yet.
"Do you want me to kiss you?" I got back by his word my cheeks turned red "w-ha-t?" I asked "don't look at me with those eyes. Next time if you look at me like that without thinking twice I'll kiss you. Your eyes make me insane. " I bet by now my face had turned fully red. I looked away.
By now rain has slowed down. He gets up and help me to get up. Then I realised my leg is bleeding not that hard but bleeding. I look at him. He sigh again get on his knees and take out his handkerchief and tied it around my wounds.
"Let's go." He then take out his phone and call someone "I'm sending you a location. Reach there by 20 minutes with a car and first-aid got it?" He then hang up and look at me "can you walk?" He asked I nodded. He then slides his hand around my waist and hold me by my waist "let's go"
After 1 hour we reached the hotel. There I saw a car standing with a guy wearing black suit standing by its side "wait in the car. I'm bringing your stuff" I nod and Went towards the car and get inside it. I rested my head in windows and closed my eyes.
My biggest fear is now coming true. I'm falling in love with Xavier. I don't want that. I'm scared to love someone. The things, the feelings I crave the most, I'm getting it now but I'm scared to accept it. I hate this feeling,I hate how he care for me, I hate when he is the only one who noticed me, I hate it when he looks at me lovingly. But ain't I wanting it from long time. And when I've the person who can give all I want. I'm scared. You can call me coward. I'm not ready to accept it. And I don't even know what he thinks about me. What if he is just playing around? "Don't fall in love with him. Don't get attached to him. Try to avoid him as much you can." I try to ensure myself. My eyes start feeling heavy, I close my eyes.
A sudden break makes me open my eyes. We are in front of a hotel. "We went to your house but its look like someone was arguing that's why we are here." Xavier said. I nod. Let's go inside. We check in and went to the room. "Here change your clothes and take those medicines." I just nod and went inside the washroom to change. After some minutes I came out and I noticed there us not a single traces of Xavier. "Where did he go?" The rain is again heavily pouring. Then I heard footsteps approaching me, There he is. "Did you take medicine?" I nod but i lied again.
"You are lying. Here take it" he said i shoke my head and turn my head "you have to take it or else you will not be heal, it will get worse. He then come and kneel in front of me and said " and above that I can't hear your sweet voice." I blushed I try to speak and suddenly a lightning strike I flinched and without thinking twice I jumped upon him. He securely held me by my waist and whispered in my ear "your actions really drives me crazy." I blushed and hide my face in his neck. "You really scared of lightning aren't you?" I didn't answered, he then squeezed my waist. I feel a shivers runs down to my spine. " I hate when someone ignored me. Here I'm asking again did you really scared of lightning?" He asked holding closer to him "yes" somehow I replied. I broke the hug and tried to get up but he was not ready to leave me "stay" he said in a deep voice "You are warm, stay still until I get the warm from your body."
I then raise my head to look him, but he was already staring at me, his gaze softened. For the first time I feel something for him. My heart beat raised. I feel goosebumps all over my body. He then caressed my cheek and said "I told you not to look at me like that. Don't blame me now." I get confused "for wh--h-at"
