Vegas Theerapanyakul is wealthy, powerful, cold as ice, and haunted by a past betrayal that left him wary of love. When Pete Phongsakorn, a hopeful and warm-hearted architecture student, steps into his world, sparks fly-but not the kind that ignites...
As Pete opened the door, Porsche burst in with his usual bright smile, radiating excitement that seemed to bounce off the walls. "Hey, sleeping beauty! Are you ready for the big day?" he exclaimed, his energy infectious.
Pete chuckled nervously, "I'm trying to be, but it's a little hard to focus with all this anticipation."
Porsche raised an eyebrow playfully. "Well, let's not waste any more time. You need to get ready! Remember, the place is a bit far, and we can't afford to be late!"
"Right, right! I'll be quick," Pete replied, glancing at the clock. He hurriedly slipped into the light pink sweater and light blue jeans he had chosen, then grabbed his white shoes, ensuring everything was just right.

He collected his project materials, trying to shove down the nervous flutter in his stomach.
As they made their way out of the apartment, Porsche couldn't help but notice Pete's apprehension. "Hey, you look good! You've got this," he said, clapping a hand on Pete's shoulder. "Just remember, it's all about showcasing your talent. You'll impress them, no doubt!"
"Thanks, Porsche. I just... I really want it to go well," Pete admitted, his voice trailing off as his thoughts drifted to the meeting.
As they settled into Porsche's sleek Audi A4, the engine purred to life, and they hit the road. The sun streamed through the windows, warming the interior and adding to the excitement in the air.

Pete was looking outside, lost in his thoughts, when he suddenly mumbled, "Vegas will be there too," almost under his breath, but Porsche heard him loud and clear.
Porsche's eyes sparkled with mischief as he glanced sideways at Pete. "Oh, really? So, you're not just nervous about the meeting; you're nervous about seeing Vegas too!"
Pete's cheeks flushed, and he stammered, "N-no! It's just—uh, it's the whole situation! The meeting! The project! You know?" He ran a hand through his hair, a gesture of sheer exasperation mixed with embarrassment. "It's not that big of a deal!"
Porsche chuckled, clearly enjoying Pete's discomfort as he maneuvered through traffic. "Sure, keep telling yourself that. You're practically glowing with excitement! What's the worst that could happen? You meet him, impress him, and then what? You have an awkward moment where you can't even look him in the eye?"
Pete groaned his face a mix of humor and genuine worry. "Okay, okay! Maybe I'm a little excited, but it's just an internship meeting! Why am I freaking out over this?"
"Because it's not just any meeting," Porsche replied, his grin widening. "It's a chance to impress Kinn and the oh-so-charismatic Vegas Theerapanyakul! You're not just a student anymore; you're stepping into the big leagues!"
"I... I don't know how to handle this!" Pete blurted, his hands flailing slightly as they approached a red light. "What if I say something stupid? What if I trip over my own feet? Or worse, what if I say something that makes him think I'm a total loser?"
Porsche burst out laughing, the sound echoing off the car's interior. "Pete, relax! Just be yourself. And if you trip, make it look like a dramatic entrance! Trust me, they'll love you."
"Thanks for the pep talk," Pete said, rolling his eyes but unable to hide his smile. "Now I just need to survive the meeting without embarrassing myself in front of Vegas."
As they drove on, Porsche turned up the music, filling the car with an upbeat rhythm. "You've got this, buddy! Just remember, it's not the end of the world. You'll have plenty of other opportunities."
"Yeah, but this one feels different," Pete admitted, glancing out the window. "It's just an internship, but I want to make a good impression."
"Then go in there and show them what you've got," Porsche encouraged, stealing a glance at Pete as they pulled up to a stoplight. "Just think of it as an opportunity to show them the amazing projects you've been working on. And if you get nervous, just look at me. I'll be your cheering squad!"
"Cheering squad, huh? I'll hold you to that," Pete said, his nerves easing a bit as he felt the warmth of Porsche's encouragement.
With that, they pulled onto the main road leading to The Grand Luxe Hotel, the venue that held the promise of a bright future for Pete, filled with both excitement and trepidation.
