As they pulled up to The Grand Luxe Hotel, Pete's breath caught in his throat. He looked up at the stunning architecture before him; it was the most magnificent structure he had ever seen in his life. The pristine white buildings gleamed in the sunlight, complemented by blue glass that sparkled like sapphires, giving the entire place a regal touch.
"Wow, this place is incredible!" Pete exclaimed, his eyes wide with wonder. "I've never seen anything like it. It looks like something out of a movie!"
Porsche chuckled, watching Pete's reaction with amusement. "Pretty impressive, right? This is just the outside. Wait until you see the inside!"
"Let's go inside, then!" Pete urged, his excitement bubbling over.
Once inside, they were greeted by a vast, elegant lobby adorned with marble floors and stunning chandeliers that cascaded from the high ceilings. The atmosphere was filled with a blend of luxury and warmth, and Pete couldn't help but feel a sense of awe.
"Seriously, Porsche, this is unreal," he said, glancing around as they walked. "The interior is just as breathtaking as the exterior! How have you been here before?"
"Oh, I've been here a few times with Kinn," Porsche replied casually, pulling out his phone to call Kinn. "He owns the place, after all."
Pete stopped in his tracks, eyes wide with surprise. "Wait, what? Does Kinn own this hotel? No way!"
Porsche laughed at Pete's reaction. "Yep! He's got his hands on a lot of projects. This is just one of the many properties in his portfolio. You should see the penthouse suite; it's insane!"
"Are you serious? Kinn is a total powerhouse!" Pete said, shaking his head in disbelief. "I can't believe I'm about to meet someone who owns a place like this!"
Porsche smirked, clearly enjoying Pete's amazement. "Told you, you're stepping into the big leagues. Just wait until you meet him and Vegas; they're both something else."
"Yeah, I can only imagine," Pete replied, still awestruck as they continued toward the private lounge. "I just hope I don't embarrass myself in front of them."
"You'll be fine, Pete," Porsche assured him. "Just remember to breathe and enjoy the moment. And don't forget, I'm right here with you."
With that, they made their way to the lounge, Pete's heart racing with a mix of excitement and nerves as he prepared to step into a world that felt both foreign and thrilling.
As they reached the door of the private lounge, Pete's heart raced wildly in his chest. The thought of seeing Vegas and the pressure of the upcoming meeting sent a whirlwind of emotions spiraling through him—excitement, anxiety, and a tinge of awe all mingled together. He inhaled deeply, reminding himself that everything was going to be fine; it was just a meeting after all.
As the door swung open, Pete felt his feet freeze to the ground, momentarily paralyzed by the mix of emotions flooding him.
Porsche, noticing Pete's hesitation, chuckled softly. "Ayee, Pete! Let's go!"
Pete shot him a nervous glance, his voice trembling. "I—uh, what if I just... mess up, you know? Like, what if I trip or say something totally dumb in front of him?"
Porsche grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Relax! You're just about to meet Vegas! No pressure, right?"
Pete's cheeks turned a bright shade of red at the mention of Vegas, and he stuttered, "W-wait, it's not like he's, um, the love of my life or anything! I mean, it's just... it's just a meeting!" He fumbled over his words, feeling a mix of embarrassment and excitement.
