After finishing their breakfast, Kinn looked at Vegas with a thoughtful expression. "How about a walk in the garden? It's a beautiful day."

"Sure," Vegas replied, trying to shake off the lingering sadness from earlier.

As they strolled through the lush greenery, Kinn glanced at Vegas, his tone turning serious. "Are you fine now?"

Vegas took a moment before responding. "I'm okay. Just... processing things," he said, attempting to sound more confident than he felt.

Kinn nodded, appearing to accept his response. After a thoughtful pause, he finally spoke up, "What do you think we should do about Pete?"

Vegas furrowed his brow, confused by the question. "Pete? What do you mean?" he asked, sounding a bit bewildered.

Kinn raised an eyebrow, a hint of playfulness in his voice. "The internship."

"Oh," Vegas said, the realization dawning on him. "Right."

Kinn continued, "Yesterday didn't go well for him. He came to talk about the internship, but the situation turned out differently."

After a long pause, Vegas finally admitted, "Actually, you're right. I should at least say sorry for my behavior. He didn't deserve that. I didn't give him a chance yesterday. I was so lost in my head that I ignored the main point."

"I really want to apologize to him for how things went," Vegas added, his voice softening.

Kinn offered a supportive smile. "Exactly! Just be honest with him. You've always had a good eye for talent, and I believe Pete has a lot to offer. A little humility can go a long way."

"Yeah, you're right," Vegas replied, feeling a sense of resolve building within him. "I just want to make things right."

"How about we fix a meeting with him again? It might help clear the air," Kinn suggested.

"Yeah, that's a great idea. Can you arrange it?" Vegas asked, hopeful.

Kinn nodded, a cheeky grin spreading across his face.

"Anything for you, my WEGATHHH!"

"It's VEGAS, V.E.G.A.S, not WEGATHHH!"

"Yes, WEGATHHH, I know!" Kinn grinned mischievously.

"Shut up, Kinn! One more word, and I'll hang you upside down from that branch like a bat."

Kinn raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on his face. "If I become a bat, what happens to my Porsche? Think about him!"

Vegas crossed his arms, trying to suppress a laugh. "Oh please, he'll be fine! I'll just tell him his boyfriend went out for a midnight snack!"

"Midnight snack?" Kinn feigned shock. "What if he gets lonely and starts a search party? You'll have to explain why you turned me into a bat!"

Vegas chuckled, shaking his head. "I'll just say it was a 'wing' of fate!"

"Wings of fate?" Kinn laughed, raising an eyebrow.

"Yep! Just a little flair for your new bat life!" Vegas shot back with a playful smile.

Kinn groaned playfully, rolling his eyes. "You're terrible! But I love it, WEGATHHH." He winked at Vegas.

"Shut up, Kinn!" Vegas laughed softly, playfully hitting Kinn on the shoulder and cursing him good-naturedly. The tension in his chest eased a little as they chuckled together, enjoying the lighthearted moment.

As they walked along, Kinn reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. "I'll call Porsche to get Pete's number," he said."

"Good idea," Vegas replied, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness.

Kinn took a small step away from Vegas and dialed Porsche. After a few rings, his boyfriend answered, his voice wrapping around Kinn like a cozy hug. "Hey, Love!
