COULD YOU EVER BLACK OUT IN PURE LIGHT? Yes, just don't ask how. Yes.

When Penelope could see straight again, she was back at camp, in the dining pavilion, in the middle of dinner. Her and Piper were standing on the Aphrodite cabin's table, and Piper had one foot in Drew's pizza. Sixty campers rose at once, gawking at them in astonishment. Penelope straightened her back, flabbergasted.

Whatever her dad had done to shoot them across the country, it wasn't good for her stomach. She agreed with her step mom that he was a rough driver.

She could barely control her nausea. Leo wasn't so lucky. He jumped off the table, ran to the nearest bronze brazier, and threw up in it-which was probably not a great burnt offering for the gods.

"Jason?" Chiron trotted forward. No doubt the old centaur had seen thousands of years' worth of weird stuff, but even he looked totally flabbergasted. "What-How-?"

Penelope made a peace sign with both her hands and looked at the Apollo cabin who was busy cheering her and calling her upon. She jumped off the table, and strut towards the table.

"Sup demigods!" Leo yelled. "We're back!"

They didn't do much at all. Will and Austin had helped her around in her bunk, getting her bright yellow sheets and pillow cases, and Kayla had gotten her a premium delos sapling, which she showed off to Leo proudly. That was just an excuse, to meet him, considering he had gotten crazy popular ever since he returned from the quest, mostly because of his great story telling about the Cyclops and Encleadus. Finally, she'd gotten a chance to have a real shower. Her hair had gotten crazy long till her waist, and she had grown a few inches taller suprisingly that made her happy.

Penelope walked down to the Aphrodite cabin where Piper rested, hopefully not annoyed to have her. She and Piper just talked about the quest, as they painted their nails a pastel combo of blue and pink, their favourite colours. Penelope let Piper to cut with her hair, and at the end of long hours, she had gotten a pretty choppy cut, with her hair till her chest, which felt good. Piper let her braid her hair until it was time for the camp fire.

"I don't think this looks good pipes.." Penelope said playing around with her blue flannel crop top and matching pajamas. "Don't you think that my left boob looks way to different than my right one- wait! what if everyone notices that?!"

Piper just sighed. She obviously felt great, she looked amazing like she always did. She'd gotten a dove feather braided on her hair and wore a purple flannel with pajamas, matching to what Penelope wore. "You look amazing! Relax its just a camp fire!"

"Yeahhhhhhh-"

"And I know you have a crush on Leo."

Penelope choked on her Capri Sun as she looked at Piper, who was busy laughing at her.

"Relax!" Piper tried not to laugh. "I obviously didn't tell anyone!"

"Noooo," Penelope denied it, atleast tried to. "I don't like Leo!"

"Do you?"

"C'mon!" Piper just laughed and pushed herself and her out of the cabin to the campfire.

There was nothing much be except four seats, decorated the best that children could. First, it was a striking blue, with a strike which Penelope thought was supposed to be a lighting was painted. Next, it was a bright yellow with a blue cloud in the middle. After, there was a bright orange one, with cardboard flame cutouts all around, and finally, a baby pinkish purple one, with a little dove on the top. They all understood where they were supposed to sit, but just for fun, Leo and Jason exchanged seats. Haley had started to cry inbetween Chiron's hooves as Leo tried to pull him out of there apologizing, and trying not to laugh.

Pretty much the rest of the night went on well. They told their story and answered a million questions from the other campers, but finally Chiron saw how tired they were and ordered them to bed. Penelope and Leo walked together, discussing whether tomatoes were a fruit or a vegetable.

Leo finally stopped in the middle of nowhere, and said, "Tomatoes are the best dude! Like, the meaty flavour and the juicy texture will literally send you to heaven!"

"Quite too literally!" Penelope fake cried. "I hate those things!"

Leo just sighed and put one of his arms around her shoulder. Penelope did the same, as she was almost his height. If she could exercise more, she would get even taller.

"You know something?" Penelope asked.

"What?"

"If I manage to do a thousand pull ups everyday, for bout ten days, and get my body as tall as of Chiron's, I can beat up every dude who eats tomatoes"

Leo groaned out loud, and banged his forehead on her head and cried. "Why do you still remember that?!!"

"Cause I'm a Capri sun."

"What?" Leo shook his head in disbelief.

"And you're a repair boy"

"Your repair boy" Leo winked at her and finger gunned at her. She just rolled her eyes, trying not to smile as she kept on walking. Leo probably ran a few paces to catch up to her. He put his arm around her shoulder again, but this time, leaned on her body.

He touched her hair at the top with his index finger. "You cut your hair?" Penelope nodded in reply.

"You also grew a lot taller." He pointed out, measuring their heights with his palm. Penelope laughed and pulled his hand back down and kept it in his pockets but he grabbed her hand.

"Your hands are so fucking cold." He said, holding her palms tighter. Penelope was really strong. She'd defeated a dozens of monsters, a giant too. She was obviously not blushing.

"I'mma- go sleep. Uh, bye." She quickly rushed off as he just stood there in surprise, as she quickly walked off to her cabin. She stood infront of the door and knocked.

"Will"
"WiLL"
"WillAm SoLace"
"Alohomora!"

The door slammed open, to reveal a sleepy Will, with a really bad case of bed hair. He has wore on a armor, half naked, which was a very surprising fashion choice. He had bunny ears drawn on his face, which she guessed was done by Austin, and since she abided by the rule of how snitches got stitches, she did not say anything.

Penelope immediately walked down on her bunk, and fell back. It felt so good to sleep on a real mattress, and she was soo exhausted, she crashed immediately, which spared her no worry about having to find a place to sleep or something to eat like she always had to. Now she had someone to call home. She felt great. People had a place, she had a person.

The next morning she woke in her bunk, feeling reinvigorated. The sun came through the windows along with a pleasant breeze. It might’ve been spring instead of winter. Birds sang. Monsters howled in the woods. Breakfast smells wafted from the dining pavilion—bacon, pancakes, and all sorts of wonderful things. Life was perfect.
