(Note: Hi everybody, thanks for reading what I got so far. Hope your enjoying it. Sorry for being a little late, but this chapter is a long one today. Enjoy! ~Author)
"Well, that's a horrible thing to say about yourself kid", a voice spoke from somewhere.
I looked around in attempt to find where the voice came from, but it was nowhere to be found. There was only darkness, more and more darkness. I didn't say anything though, it was just a thought.
"Thoughts, words. They're all the same here, so it doesn't matter if it was actually said. Besides, it's still not nice to think yourself in such a light.", the voice stated again. This time though, I didn't bother looking for where it came from. After all, it's just a stupid voice trying to tell me to 'love myself'... as if I'd be able to do that considering the person I am."I'm sorry, did you just call me a stupid voice? You really think that you have the capability to make up a voice like mine, with this much personality. Jeez, you have overestimated yourself there kid.", the voice retorted. So the voice has an ego. Why am I not surprised? I sat there in silence, watching the pitch black in front of me even though nothing is changing. Imagine watching a screen full of static, except it produced no sound and was completely stuck in the same spot. This was the exact same feeling.
"Yeah, it's a little too dark in here for my liking. Too moody broody. Let's just...", the voice agreed before something started changing. It wasn't so dark anymore, and then everything changed. I was still by myself, but I was no longer in the dark. I was sitting on a buttercup yellow bench, overlooking a field of wildflowers that were almost identical to the ones back home if travelled far enough. Beautiful shades of purple and white, running for the horizon.
"There. That's better. Have to say, nice spot kid.", the voice sounded closer but I still didn't look for it.I felt something tap my shoulder, so I turned around. What I saw was so surprising, it left me falling butt first onto the hard, red dirt. A flying dorito with an eye, top hat, bow tie, arms and legs. So essentially, a fancy floating dorito.
"Well, the look on your face was funny but sorry for the startle. The name's Bill Cipher. Yours is?", it said, stifling a giggle. That's right people, the magical fancy floating dorito can talk!
"Y/N. Y/N l/n. Nice to meet you but I have to ask... what the heck are you?", I responded. Bill let out a chuckle, before realising that I was genuinely curious and had no idea."You're probably going to think this is crazy, but i am without a doubt serious. I'm a dream demon, one of the only ones left from my dimension. For future reference, don't tell anybody and don't ask about my dimension. Not information that you'll want to know and I don't need anybody knowing that you met me, okay?", Bill explained. It, no probably referred to as he,- he watched my expression, as if waiting for me to start laughing or calling him crazy. Being completely honest coming from Australia, it's not the most insane thing I've heard. I mean, the story behind the jiddee-jiddees scares any kid but it sounds made up... I still trusted it though.
"So, might I ask why you're appearing in my dream Bill?", I asked to break the silence. I just looked towards Bill, and he seemed to make an expression to show he was trying to figure out how to word it. Don't ask me how I can tell the feelings of a triangle with one eye, it's not easy.
"Well, I don't exactly know. There's something about you, it intrigues me. You walked into a forest in gravity falls, without a care in the world. You probably know that the forests are never a place to go alone here, but you went anyway and it didn't phase you. You met a gnome, who was notorious for trying to kidnap women and force them to be their queen, and then when I burnt him to ashes you were relieved. You are one of the first people I have encountered to be this way and it intrigues me.", he elaborated. I paused, the words sinking in. So he was the reason that gnome caught fire and died... alright, guess that's cool."First of all, I didn't know that people don't walk the forests alone in gravity falls. I wasn't expecting a gnome to approach me, or any other weird thing to occur. Second of all, I don't see why you find me intriguing. I'm not that interesting, and so people don't bother getting to know me. There's not much point in knowing a boring person, so therefore I don't have any friends. The closest person I have is my twin brother, Rowan.", I reason.
"Nonsense. People who don't want to get to know or be friends with a person like you are just blind. Tell you what, I'll make you a deal but only if you're up to it.", he retorted."What kind of deal, Bill?", I ask, curiously.
"Simple. You help me get into your world and out of the mindscape, and I'll be your friend and help you on anything that you might need.", he held out his hand, it engulfing in blue flames. I took his hand, shaking on the deal. It would be nice to have a friend. Turns out, the blue flames for a deal don't hurt. However, I can guess the blue flames in the gnome did...The scenery around us started getting lighter as I let go of Bill's hand.
"Looks like you're waking up, little Cherub. Don't worry, we'll meet again soon. I'll find you.", he stated. I was about to ask why he called me 'little cherub' but everything disappeared, and I closed my eyes.I opened my eyes, no longer dreaming and in the Mystery Shack. I guess it was all just a dream, including Bill. Well, the idea of having a friend was nice though. I got up from my bed, stretching and walking out of my room to go and get some breakfast.
