Author Note: Hey Everyone, I know I haven't updated the story in a couple of weeks. However, my reasoning is because of the important holidays that have occurred in the previous Wednesdays, and spending time with family and friends. Hope you all enjoyed, and I'll be getting back to the weekly updates when possible.
After all my family had met and talked to William we both decided to go for a walk in the forest.
"I can understand why you have trouble hanging around them. I'm all for spending time with other beings Cherub, but that was exhausting." William complained. I nodded, I do agree with him on that regard.
"Hey Willi-", I started. "Cherub, you can call me Bill when we're not around your family and other who you might know.", he interrupted.
"I'm still going to keep calling you William when we're alone, makes it easier to remember and not slip up in front of family. Anyway, I've got a question for you.", I explain. "Okay, shoot.", he smiles. "Why do you call me Cherub? You know my name, so why not use it?", I ask.
"Well, that's technically two questions, but okay. I don't use your name because I think the nickname I gave you suits you better. And you'll find out at a later time why I call you Cherub.", he grins. He didn't even answer my actual question...
"Now, I've got a question for you Cherub. What is it that you came all the way to Gravity Falls to find? There's got to be some reason you and that twin of yours are here.", he asks.
"We're here... In search of our father. It took 18 years to find even the tiniest information about him, and now we have it we want to find him. The only thing we knew is that he has a twin brother, who was that old man you talked to earlier, and that he lives in Gravity Falls.", I respond, weary of explaining it.
"Not even a name to find him? Gee, maybe you two are better off quitting this investigation...", he contemplates.
"Oh, we do have his name. It's Stanley Pines.", I counter.
"Stanley Pines... Stanley Pines, eh? Well, I'm sure I can help you find him. But, whatever we find stays between us until we have actually found him... Ok? No blabbing about any of this to your brother.", William states. I nod, what could the harm be?
William and I will find you Stanley, no matter the cost!
