"What?", I ask.
"What do you think of the new look?", Bill repeats himself. He twirls around, smiling ear to ear.
"My personal opinion little Cherub, you have good taste. Almost like a comfort quality over looking really good, but you also tied in choices that look good together. Although, I do miss my beloved top hat", he complements, ending with a little fake pout.
"I have good taste. I didn't do anything, this ain't my doing.", I hesitantly remarked.
"Ah, but little Cherub, you did do this. When we made that deal in your dreams, I was originally thinking that I would replace you and you would be stuck in the mind scape. However, that didn't happen. You found a completely different way to get me into your realm, and that was by making me a physical form complete with your choice of fashion.", Bill explained. None of this makes sense to me. But I guess it makes sense to him and he's comfortable, and that's what really matters... and I fulfilled my part of the deal?
"So, to complete my end of the deal I have to be your friend... and help you find what you're looking for. I mean, you eyes look as if you're in a mission. So, what is it exactly you are so determined to find?", Bill asks.
"I'm looking for my dad. He disappeared on my brother and I before we were born. Stanley Pines.", I concisely explain. I looked to Bill, who was making an inquisitive face.
"Well, before we start trying to look for him, we should be friends! So, what exactly do friends do?", he exclaimed, interrupting his train of thought from earlier.
"Well... I don't know really. I haven't had friends before, but I guess it's just someone who's there when you need them the most. Someone to spend time with and have fun.", I estimated.
"So... fun. How about I meet your family and we spend time with them? That's fun, right?", he asked. Honestly, it sounded like a perfect idea. Especially for an introvert.
We started walking, making our way towards the Mystery Shack.
