Ethan is like... a puzzle. Everyone else talks, jokes, and laughs, but him? He's always quiet. Except when he's with his close friends, of course. Like today at lunch—Daniel was telling some story about basketball practice, and I was sitting nearby. Ethan didn't say much, but when he did? Everyone listened. Even though he only talks to a few people, there's something about him that draws you in. I wish I could be one of those people.
Sometimes I wonder what he's thinking, sitting there all quiet, with that faraway look in his eyes. Does he even notice the rest of us? Does he notice me?
I guess I'm kind of the opposite of him. I make friends easily and I talk a lot—maybe too much. But Ethan? He only speaks when he has something to say. It's like he's a mystery I can't solve, but I want to. It's so frustrating. Why can't I stop thinking about him?
I blame K-pop. Maybe all those romantic fantasies are messing with my head. Every time I see him, I feel like I'm living in one of those dramatic music videos where the shy girl falls for the cool, distant guy. But life isn't like that. Right?
