I won't be able to update until Monday.

Helaena, Aegon and Visenya spy on Rhaenyra and Aemond. Aegon finds out some things and decides to ask some hard questions. I hope you guys like it 🥰

Visenya observed her older sister hiding behind a tree and looked around to find their brother Aegon hiding behind another tree. She looked between the both of them, not understanding what they were doing or who they were spying on. Visenya made sure to be quiet, not wanting to give herself away as she approached her sister and tried to look over her shoulder.

Her voice was a whisper. "What are we looking at?"

Helaena jumped, hitting her head under Visenya's chin, making both women wince. Her sister turned to glare at her and Visenya was sure she would be yelling if she had not been trying to be quiet. "What in all the gods' names are you doing?"

"I asked you first." Visenya tried to look around the tree, but Helaena pushed her back. "What? I want to know."

Her sister did not look impressed. "Why?"

"Because I am noisy." She said it like it should have been obvious. "What is happening?"

Helaena let out an annoyed sigh. "Aemond and Rhaenyra came across each other while walking."

She immediately knew that Helaena was not talking about their mother and brother. "Have they tried to kill each other yet?"

"No!" Her sister snapped, before taking a few deep breaths and making sure they had not been heard. "They are just standing there and have said a few words, but we can't hear what they are saying."

"Oh." Visenya looked around the tree, watching as the two people just stood there glaring at each other. They watched a few more seconds, but nothing happened and Visenya's patience won out. "Can you speak louder so we can hear?"

Rhaenyra and Aemond jumped and looked towards them. Visenya looked around, noticing Aegon and Helaena glaring at her.

Her sister rolled her eyes and shook her head before giving the two people an apologetic look. "We apologize, we did not mean to spy on you."

"Yes, we did." Aegon and Helaena tried to shut her up, but Visenya simply crossed her arms over her chest. "We were spying on you both, wanting to know if you would yell at each other or if Rhaenyra would try to stab Aemond. We are all very curious, so please do not mind us, just keep going as you were."

"I was not going to stab my brother, as much as I want to, I know it would not solve much." Rhaenyra gave them a nod. "I will return to my chambers and check on the others."

Visenya watched as the other woman left before turning to look at Aemond. While she understood his reasons for his anger and his frustrations, that did not mean she thought killing his nephew had been a good move on his part. "Did you at least apologize?"

The man's eyes hardened. "Why would I apologize?"

"I would start by apologizing for killing her son." She did not back away from his anger, sited looking him straight in the eyes. "And would finish with apologizing for helping someone usurp her throne."

Aemond's face reddened, but she knew that he was not ready to give up yet. "Aegon is the eldest son, it is his right to be king."

"If only you believed that." Visenya moved closer to the man who looked so much like her brother and at the same time so different. "You only want Aegon to be king because you know that you can take advantage of it, the moment something happens to your brother you would be in charge since he now does not have a male heir."
