Sorry I posted so late guys, work has been kicking my butt and I barely had time to write. I won't be able to post until Monday or Tuesday.

Just a few little family moments. I hope you guys like it 🥰

Maelys was not too sure about the people who had arrived from the other world. They seemed to always be mopping and they were all angry at each other. It was confusing to see people who looked so much like her parents and her siblings being so sad and angry all the time. She was sure that if they were given swords or dragons they would all try to kill each other. Her mother had told her that they were sad because they had been lied to and they had been turned into enemies. She was not sure how that happened, her parents loved them all more than anything and her siblings were loving and supportive of each other. They had fights and conflicts, just like any other family, but they had never tried to kill each other. Well, according to her brother Aegon, Visenya had tried to kill him several times, but Visenya always said that their brother was just dramatic and did not understand her jokes.

"You promised we would play." Maelys looked at her niece who was giving her an annoyed look. "That is the reason we came to the gardens."

"I am sorry," She loved her niece, she loved all her nephews and nieces, even if the other one was just a babe. "I was distracted."

Aryana gave her a questioning look. "Why? Everyone seems distracted lately. Papa is always worried and watches mama and me closer than before."

She understood, her parents were the same and so were her older siblings. "Yes, that is because they are worried about the people from the other world."

"Oh," Aryana seemed to think about it for a moment. "Is it because they are always angry and say bad words to each other?"

Maelys narrowed her eyes at her niece. "Have you been spying on people?"

"Of course not." Aryana's face flushed, which told Maelys the smaller girl was lying. "I would never do that."

She wanted to laugh but knew that would only encourage Aryana. "Have you been listening to Visenya again?"

"Not always," Aryana loved Visenya and her sister took pleasure in trying to make Aryana just like her and give their brother Aegon a heart attack.

The man's worst fear was his daughter becoming like their sister. "You know your father does not like when you do the things Visenya teaches you."

"But they are fun. Did you know Visenya taught me how to use her catapult, is really amusing." Aryana's eyes shone with eagerness, making Maelys chuckle and shake her head. Her niece frowned while looking at something behind Maelys. "Are you lost?"

Maelys turned just in time to see Aemond approaching them, only it was not her brother, but the one-eyed Aemond from the other world. There was something about him that was always angry and sad.

The man seemed a bit uncomfortable around them. "I am sorry, I did not want to bother anyone. I did not know anyone was here."

"Is all well." Aryana did not seem worried about the man. "Do you wish to play with us?"

Aemond looked like the word was a foreign concept to him. "What do you mean?"

"Grandpapa taught all my uncles and aunts how to braid hair, and now Maelys is teaching me." Aryana moved to stand in front of the man and gave him a hopeful look. "May I braid your hair?"
