In the quiet stillness of early morning, Pond and Dunk worked side-by-side, setting up cameras and microphones in the strategic locations they had identified the night before. Every click, every adjustment, felt heavy with purpose as they worked to fortify the family's defenses.

"If this works, we'll finally have some real leverage," Dunk whispered as he adjusted a hidden microphone, his eyes focused on the task.

Pond nodded, his gaze steady. "They've been watching us for too long. It's time they realize we're not just sitting back anymore."

The two shared a determined look, Dunk's analytical approach balancing Pond's bold confidence. They carefully set up tracking devices near entry points, ensuring no movement would go undetected. As they finished, Dunk looked at him, a hint of worry in his expression.

"You sure about this?" Dunk asked quietly. "It could push them to escalate."

Pond nodded firmly. "If they're going to come for us, we need to be ready. I won't let them take anything more from us."

Dunk's expression softened, and with a final glance, they sealed the plan, each of them filled with a steely resolve.

While Pond and Dunk prepared the traps, Gemini and Fourth were busy reviewing security footage from the past week. Their eyes scanned the recordings carefully, every small movement scrutinized, until Gemini paused the video, leaning forward.

"Look at this," he said, pointing at a particular figure entering a nearby business. "That man is always around. I thought he was just a local, but he shows up on the footage almost every day."

Fourth's eyes narrowed as he took a closer look, recognizing him as one of Phuwin's father's old associates. "So he's not just watching us—he's stationed people in nearby businesses."

Gemini clenched his jaw, anger simmering beneath the surface. "This isn't just a few spies; it's a network. He's using the whole area to keep tabs on us."

They exchanged a look, each silently acknowledging the gravity of their discovery. Fourth spoke up, his voice low but determined. "We need to find a way to turn some of these people. If we can get even one of them to work against him, we might be able to dismantle his operation from the inside."

Gemini nodded, his gaze steady. "We'll start with those closest to him. It's time we weaken his hold."

With a new determination, they continued their review, each discovery adding fuel to their resolve.

Later that day, Joong and Dunk went back to check on their surveillance equipment, making sure everything was functioning as planned. But as they approached one of the devices, Dunk's hand shot up, halting Joong mid-step. They both froze, watching as one of Phuwin's father's associates scanned the area, his eyes narrowing with suspicion.

"He's looking for something," Joong whispered, a bead of sweat forming on his brow.

Dunk's mind raced, calculating their options as the man's eyes darted around, dangerously close to finding one of their hidden cameras. Thinking fast, Dunk grabbed Joong's arm, pulling him into the shadows, holding his breath as the man's gaze swept past them.

After what felt like an eternity, the man finally turned and walked away, his footsteps fading into the distance. Joong exhaled, his shoulders relaxing as they exchanged a tense glance.

"That was close," Joong muttered, his voice tinged with relief.

Dunk nodded, his face serious. "We need to stay sharp. They're onto us, and it won't take much for them to figure out what we're doing."
