Sydney needed to do something during the summer since her parents said that being lazy all day long while watching netflix is not healthy.
She had explored all of New York since she loved adventures. She didn't have anything new to explore and she really wanted to go on an adventure soon.
She thought of places to explore and found the perfect place. Sydney wanted to explore the city she was named after. She was lucky she had an aunt who lived 9,929 miles away from her, and that's exactly what she needed. She needed to be 9,929 miles away from her parents for the next three months and explore Sydney, Australia.
She loved sneaking out at two in the morning to do something that'll make the night worth it. (No, she didn't go to clubs or parties at two am and fûck someone.) She would walk to the park, the forest, a store... basically, wherever the wind took her. She would love to drive a car at two in the morning with the windows rolled down and music blasting, but she was saving that for when she has someone special to share that memory with.
Sydney didn't know what she was getting herself into when she asked her parents if she could go to Australia.
