Sydney woke up the next morning at two p.m. and she wanted to sleep a little longer but she knew she had to get up and eat something. She stood up, letting out a big breath and went to the restroom since her bladder was about to explode.

Sydney wasn't a huge fan of brushing her teeth before breakfast because then everything would taste weird, so she always waited to brush her teeth after eating. Obviously, if she was going out to eat, she made sure to brush her teeth before leaving the house. She looked for Lisa but then remembered she was at work so Sydney went to the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge.

Sydney,

I talked to Liz Hemmings, Luke's mom, and she told me you know her son. You are welcomed to join them for lunch today at three p.m. IF you want. If you don't, there's fifty bucks under the red plate behind you. Have a good day, I'll see you later(:

Lisa x

Sydney ran to her room and checked her phone, since she knew she had at least one text from Luke.

Luke: Good morning :-)

Luke: My mom invited you over today, you better come lol

Luke: You're probably asleep

Luke: WAKE UP IT'S LIKE 2 PM

Luke: Most girls need at least an hour to get ready so hurry your cute lil butt up :-)

Luke: Btw we're eating with or without you at 3 oops

Sydney: luke shut up I'm getting ready.

She took a quick shower, brushed her teeth, did her make up and hair and changed into a cute outfit in less than an hour. That is because Sydney never contoured her face or went all out with it. She left the house and stopped after a second because she had no clue where Luke lived.

Sydney: where do you live?

Luke: In a house

Sydney: luke i'm being serious.

Luke: Me too! I live in a house.

Sydney: fine, i'm going to eat somewhere else.

Luke: 453 woodland st.

Sydney: that's what i thought.

Luke was extremely nervous and tidied his room about five times. He was not used to having girls over, only guys, so he had to act all manly and make a mess out of his room. This time, he had to clean his room since girls are clean freaks, or that's what he thinks. He was telling his three friends about the girl he swore he'd never talk about, but he just couldn't resist to do so. He was mesmerized by the fact that she was so into photography, art, and exploring places. He changed the conversation with his friends, not wanting to talk about Sydney right now because he was getting more nervous by the second.

Sydney was nervous to meet Luke's family and hesitated to knock on the door. On the way to the Hemmings' house she was on the phone with Lisa, and she assured Sydney they were lovely people. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door. A woman opened the door, and smiled.

"Hello Sydney, come in!" She said and Sydney smiled, giving her a slight nod before entering the house. She looked at her surroundings and looked at the woman who she was sure was Luke's mom. "I'm Liz, Luke's mom, nice to meet you."

"I'm Sydney but you already knew that," She blushed and stuck out her hand. "Nice to meet you Mrs. Hemmings, you have a beautiful home." Liz took her hand and shook it.
