We all immediately began running toward the beach, our Pokemon sprinting behind us.

"What the hell do you think that is?" I asked them, grimacing.

"I don't know," Trinity said, grimacing. "Probably some Pokemon. But what could be attacking this island?"

"How did it even get here?" Gabriel wondered.

"Enough of that," Sakura said, her grin unwavering despite the situation. "You all were brought here to deal with it, right? Then deal with it."

"Easier said then done when you're not overpowered," I grumbled, but said nothing more.

When we shot out of the forest, we spotted Dragonite and Dragonair stepping forward, doing battle with a group of Pokemon that surrounded the massive pillar of water. Every Dratini hid behind them as they protected them.

I spotted a legion of Kingdra and Gyarados, firing Hydro Pumps at the Dragonite and Dragonair. The Alpha Dragonite flew forward, firing a Dragon Pulse that swallowed the Hydro Pumps, obliterating the first row of Kingdra. They fell over as they were knocked out. Other rows, now way, swam backward cautiously, but a group of Dragonite swooped in, back on the offensive.

But before any of them could attack, a massive Hyper Beam pierced through the pillar, streaking toward the Dragonite and Dragonair that were defending the island. All of them, except for the Alpha Dragonite, were too slow in reacting, caught in the massive explosion that blew the first few rows away. Some of them were easily knocked out, but most were merely dazed by the attack.

Just like that, a good number of them were annihilated by the Pokemon invading this island.

Because of the damage done to our army, our enemies advanced forward, now having an opportunity to attack.

The Alpha Dragonite reared its head back, eyes widening in horror and fury as it flew down, opening her maw as she blasted down with Dragon Pulse, bashing the advancing Kingdra and Dragonite away.

But it would get overwhelmed while it was protecting her kin. Someone needed to stall for them to recover.

When we reached them, I shouted, "Fall back! Everyone! Don't let them overwhelm you!"

Gardevoir teleported next to the Alpha Dragonite. They glanced at each other for a moment, before nodding at each other.

"Psychic!"

Gardevoir glowed with purplish light as a wave of energy shot forth, catching a group of Kingdra unawares, blasting them away.

Gabriel and Trinity stood next to me, throwing out their respective Pokemon. Gabriel, who had returned Venusaur before, brought him back out. Meanwhile, Trinity brought out Feebas and Trevenant.

"Venusaur, Power Whip!"

"Venu!" Venusaur growled, lashing out with glowing wines, smacking a row of Gyarados away.

"Trevenant, Hyper Beam! Feebas, use Ice Beam to create a wall!"

Trevenant charged up a golden beam of energy in its palm, before shooting it outward. It caught a score of both Kingdra and Gyarados, before spreading and engulfing the ones around it.

Feebas released a beam of frost out of her mouth in an arc. As it hit the ground, it began to build up and solifdify, forming a barrier of ice that blocked the way of the incoming Pokemon.

They unleashed attacks on it, beginning to smash through it with ease. But the minor distraction was enough for the still-standing Dragonite and Dragonair to retreat back. Thought it allowed the opponents to advance once they broke the wall of ice, it gave them room to regroup and not get overwhelmed.
