The Trick Or Treaters

"I don't know what she's supposed to be." Megan frowns studying Hazel closely.

"She's Bluey." Tori laughs.

"Who?"

"Bluey? The cartoon?"

Megan stares blankly.

She literally knows nothing about what kids enjoy.

"If it's not Love Island or an Anime she won't know it." I laugh.

Megan rolls her eyes, picking up Hazel who is reaching for her.

Hazel has decided that Megan is her favorite person.

She high key be taking all my girlfriend's attention.

"Not too much on me." She says sitting on the couch as we wait for our friends.

Me, Megan, Tori, Keh, Mani, Ryan, Cardi, & Latto take Hazel, Deya, and Kulture out trick or treating.

"So you're a dog?" Megan asks Hazel, knowing she can't say anything but 'mama'.

Hazel babbles incoherently in response.

"Okay, well, I'm Sailor Moon and Beyoncé is Storm." She says after Hazel pauses for a moment. "Your mother is a white woman."

"I'm Michael Jackson!" Victoria huffs.

"I'm Chucky!" Kehlani's daughter Adeya exclaims running out of the bathroom and into the living room where we are.

She climbs up on the couch and plops down in Megan's lap.

"You look really cool- oh. I've been stabbed." Megan says as Deya pokes her with her plastic knife.

Watching Megan juggle these kids is hilarious.

Kehlani follows her to the living room in her Snoop Dogg pimp costume.

"Deya stop killing Megan." Kehlani chuckles.

"It's not real, mommy. See?" Deya says poking herself with the plastic knife.

I laugh.

Kids always think they're teaching adults something new.

We head to meetup with the other girls and let the kids collect their candy.

The kids are literally glued to Megan's side.

Hazel is on her hip, Deya is on her left and Kulture is on her right.

The sun is setting and the houses are starting to light up.

"Look at that one!" Deya yells, pointing to a house with glowing ghosts and a spooky graveyard.

Kulture grabs Megan's free hand and drags them to the front door of the house.

Hazel drifts off to sleep, snuggling into Megan's shoulder as we stop by the last few houses.

Kulture starts getting tired and hops on my back falling asleep almost instantly.

Adeya, surprisingly stays up chatting with me and Megan about dinosaurs.

Auntie duty is so fun.
