Angel POV

I was walking out the corner store when a nigga came and almost tackled me.

"Damn what the Fuck!" I yelled at him.

"My bad man!" He said back.

"The Fuck!? Brandon!?"

"Huh?!" He said as he turned around.

He rushed back towards me.

"What are you doing?" I said as I grabbed his arm.

"Man your dumb ass ex trynna catch a body... my body!" He said breathing heavily from running.

"Why, what happened?"

"She told her brother I kicked her out the house and they some gang bangers I guess. The brother was talkin' bout how I was in No Limits."

"Oh God. See this is why that gang Shit is stupid. I know her brother."

"Merch, ma tell me who he is so I can go pop his ass."

"Brandon this ain't what you need." I said looking at him crazy.

"Whatchu mean!? He came in my house with that bullshit and tried to kill me."

"I know but you don't need any bodies being caught."

"Man we just met some days ago, how you gone say that?"

"Because it's common sense."

"I guess man... but I can't even go home."

I stopped and debated about letting him stay with me for some days.

"Umm. I guess you can stay at my house?"

"Man you don't have to. I mean you can just let me use yo phone and I'll call Herb."

"My phone died hours ago... sorry."

"Then I guess I will be at yo crib."

I lead him to my car and we drove to my penthouse.

*29 minutes later*

I unlocked the door and we walked in.

"Well, make yourself at home." I said tossing my jacket on the couch.

Brandon chuckled.

"What?" I said.

"Nun... yo place is nice that's all."

"Thank you, I try my best."

We both smiled.

"Am I sleeping in here?"

"On my white couch?! No I have a guest bedroom."

"Damn! Okay girl."

We both laughed. I began walking and he follows behind me. When we got to the guest bedroom I opened the door and he walked in and flopped on the bed.

"Nice." He said smiling.

"Mhm." I said. "Well enjoy your stay."

As I started walking out he called me back in.

"Aye!"

I turned around.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks ma... you really ain't have to do this."

"No problem."

I headed back to the kitchen where I left my jacket and brought it to my room. I sat on my bed and pulled my phone out and put it on the charger. I layed back on my bed and stared at the ceiling.
