The group of friends had gathered in Trisha's room after dinner, catching up over snacks and laughter. The conversation flowed easily, bouncing from wedding excitement to old school memories. As usual, Mishti brought her trademark energy to the room.

Mishti (grinning mischievously, her eyes twinkling):
"Okay, ladies, I've got some gossip. Did you know Vaishnavi had a date recently?"

All eyes immediately turned to Vaishnavi, who froze, caught completely off guard.
Nitika (laughing in disbelief):
"What? Vaishu! You didn't tell us!"

Trisha (joining in, surprised):
"Wait, what! How did we miss this?"

Vaishnavi, feeling her cheeks flush under the sudden attention, tried to brush it off.
Vaishnavi (with a nervous laugh):
"It wasn't that big of a deal..."

But Mishti wasn't about to let her off the hook that easily.
Mishti (teasing):
"Come on, Vaishu! Spill the details. Who's the mystery man?"

Vaishnavi hesitated, feeling the weight of the moment. She hadn't planned on bringing this up, especially not here, but now that her friends were waiting expectantly, there was no escaping it. She took a deep breath before finally confessing.

Vaishnavi (softly):
"It was... Krrish."

The room went silent for a second as the girls processed the name. Then, a chorus of reactions erupted all at once.

Trisha (eyes wide):
"Krrish?! Our Krrish? The same guy from school?"

Nitika (leaning forward, intrigued):
"Wait, how did this happen?"

Mishti (grinning, clearly pleased with the revelation):
"I knew something was up! You've been all distracted lately."

Vaishnavi, still feeling a bit awkward about the situation, explained briefly.
Vaishnavi (sighing):
"It wasn't exactly planned. We ran into each other, and... well, things just happened."

Trisha (still shocked):
"Things? What kind of 'things'?Did you guys kiss?"

Vaishnavi (laughing, shaking her head):
"What! No! It was just a date. But I hadn't told anyone because I wasn't sure what to make of it."

Mishti (leaning back with a grin):
"Well, this makes things very interesting."

The girls peppered Vaishnavi with more questions, their curiosity barely satisfied. The conversation stretched late into the night, while Vaishnavi gave all the details . But deep down, she knew there was more to the story—more to her feelings about Krrish that she wasn't quite ready to confront.

As the night wound down and they all settled into their beds, the thought of Krrish lingered in her mind. She had revealed the date to her friends, but it only opened more questions for her. What did Krrish think? Did it mean anything to him?

The next morning, Vaishnavi found herself with Trisha, Mishti, and Nitika at a buzzing bridal boutique. The girls were shifting through racks of lehengas, the room filled with laughter and excitement.

Trisha (happily, holding up a bright red lehenga):
"Vaishu! What do you think of this one?"

Vaishnavi glanced up from her seat, sipping her chai.
Vaishnavi (smiling):
"It's perfect, Trisha. Definitely the one."

Trisha's face lit up, relieved to have finally found the lehenga she'd been dreaming of. The others gathered around, chiming in with their approval. After a long day of searching, they'd finally hit the jackpot.

Suddenly, Trisha's phone buzzed. She picked it up, a bright smile crossing her face.

Trisha (excitedly):
"Ishan's on his way to join us! He's coming straight from the airport."

Vaishnavi nodded, unsurprised. Of course, Ishan would want to be involved in the wedding preparations. He was as dedicated as ever, and Vaishnavi knew how much Trisha adored him.

But there was something Trisha didn't mention—something Ishan hadn't told her.

As the group settled into a cozy café after their shopping spree, laughing and chatting about the day's purchases, the door swung open, and Ishan walked in, his usual easy smile lighting up the room.

Ishan (walking over to Trisha):
"Looks like you've bought half of Surat!"

Trisha (teasing):
"Don't underestimate us, we've still got time for the other half."

Ishan chuckled, wrapping an arm around her waist, but before anyone could say more, another figure walked in behind him—Krrish. Vaishnavi's heart skipped a beat.He hadn't been mentioned by Ishan, and judging by Trisha's surprised expression, he hadn't told her either. Krrish, in his usual composed manner, offered a brief nod of acknowledgment as he took a seat next to Ishan.

Trisha (confused but amused):
"Krrish bhaiya?"

Ishan grinned sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
Ishan:
"Thought I'd bring along some backup. You know, moral support."

Mishti nudged Vaishnavi under the table, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Mishti (grinning):
"Oh, this just got interesting."

Vaishnavi shot her a warning look, but her heart raced as she stole a quick glance at Krrish. He remained silent, his expression unreadable as ever. She could feel the tension, even though no one else seemed to notice.

As the group settled into conversation, Vaishnavi couldn't shake the sense of inevitability that she and Krrish would have to talk. After everything that had happened, after that night he had helped her—it seemed impossible to ignore.
