𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝟭𝟭. A horrible place to live. A desolate place. The people who call this place home are caught in a vicious cycle of deprivation and despair. They live day to day, never knowing when their next meal will come, or if they will even survive long enough to see it. People are left to fend for themselves in a world that seems determined to see them suffer.

Many kids drop dead from starvation, their fragile bodies unable to handle the lack of food and resources available to them. People are forced to scavenge for whatever scraps of food they can find, often resorting to stealing or other desperate measures in order to feed themselves and their families.

People with sunken cheeks and empty stares roam the streets, their bodies weak and frail from hunger, their ragged clothing hanging off their emaciated bodies. It is not uncommon to see young bodies lying lifeless in the streets, their spirits finally giving in to the hunger that has plagued them for so long.

The Hunger Games. A brutal annual event where children are forced to fight to the death. The tributes chosen from District 11 are often at a severe disadvantage, lacking the strength and resources needed to survive in the arena. It is a stark and sobering portrayal of the harsh consequences of poverty and oppression. Twenty-four tributes, and only one will make it home. It's all so... repugnant.
